The one piece of Year 1 gear you want to keep
So if there could be one piece of gear from Year One that you were allowed to ascend or whatever you want to call it for Year Two and beyond, what would it be? I personally wish that my Dead Orbit cloak I've had since the beginning of the game could inherit some perks of its own so that I could show it off to all the newbies and such. To be honest even though it won't have any perks or defense I'll probably end up wearing it anyway even if my light level suffers a bit. Seriously no matter how cool all those new perks on the cloaks are I'm keeping my Dead Orbit cloak because its badass and its my connection to when I started the game. What about you guys?
Cool to see a lot of you guys aren't only choosing either Gjallarhorn or Fatebringer! I haven't even heard of some of this stuff lol.

1 OdpowiedźMy Swarm or my Devil You Know. I'll keep them for crucible but I wish I could bring them along for other stuff. For armor are they bumping up the alpha lupi crest? It is my favorite piece of armor and was my first exotic armor.

1 OdpowiedźJolder's Hammer. I've had mine since the first Iron Banner, and it's chewed up plenty of guardians foolish enough to let me get heavy ammo. It has all the elegance of the gjallarhorn, with the raw power of nothing else.

I hope to high hell that the Helm of Saint 14 gets a year 2 upgrade. I already have confirmation on the Voidfang Vestments, so that's all I'm concerned with now.

Two helmets I wish I would've got but I got the game the day before TDB came out and I didn't know they were gonna replace them. Monitor Type 2 - Titan Helm Nerigal Savant III - Warlock Helm But I guess out of all the stuff now, my hunter's chest because I can't find another good one like it. What makes it different to the factions that sell it now is that is has the Dual-headed eagle in the center.
