So with all this talk about exotics being left behind I want to know something. Do you REALLY use all of your exotics? other than Gjallahorn,
red death and a few hand cannons I can say that I rarely use any of these. So which ones do you use regularly? don't lie either.
edit: seems like most people only use a few. maybe we don't need to bring all of our exotics into year 2? just an observation.

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika SuggestedPigeon: 8/24/2015 2:29:32 PMOf course I only use a subset of exotics because a good number of them don't work in this current pvp meta and generally because of burns/sponges my exotic slot in pve is hardly ever a primary. A good number of them also just blow chunks or I don't like how they work. It's because they finally announce weapon rebalancing after I forgot how many months of absolute silence and then they turn right around and freeze probably half of them so you can't use them in higher level pve or crucible events without putting yourself at an unnecessary disadvantage. Guns that would actually become useful in 2.0 are put in the trash. Guns that were "op in pve" also get put in the trash after they get nerfed in 2.0. Icebreaker will not only suck everywhere but if you use it against oryx you will be firing peas. Necrochasm will finally be a worthwhile weapon but not in any new content where it would be appreciated by people who bothered to grind hard for it. Then the "it'll be fine in year one/regular crucible" argument that was slapped on every thread about legendary freezes laughably tries to be applied to actual exotic weapons. Of course they will but it effectively kills them. Everyone plays crucible like it's trials of osiris right now and no patch will change this as long as the event still exists.Their crucible loadout doesn't change whatsoever despite that green and blue weapons are effective. So when a bunch of exotics get sidelined they will hardly ever appear in regular crucible much like you won't see a 34 using a blue weapon except for a joke. The same pretty much applies to pve. I could wear full level 30 vog armor and be fine in vog. I could use a blue weapon I pick up from a strike as well and beat it without any problems. But why would I make myself weaker even though it doesn't matter? When people talk about relevancy of gear they're talking about the applicability of a certain item to all aspects of the game. In that respect all year one legendaries and half of year one exotics become irrelevant to the whole of the destiny content. For legendaries it's debatable whether this is a good or a bad thing, for exotics this is completely idiotic.

Invective: Most situations in PVE and PVP. It's the highest DPS and wrecks bosses. Icebreaker: On most occasions a sniper is needed. Usually things like POE Fallen bosses. MIDA: When I feel like a good scout rifle with third-eye and agility bonuses. Queenbreaker's Bow: When I need fusion rifle kills or want to counter snipers. Lord of Wolves: When the Arcbladers start to really shit me.

The last word and hawkmoon, ice breaker (hardly), pocket infinity ( for bounty) and dragons breath (trying to level up for it can be ghorn to tethered enemies

Exotics I use mostly are gally, thunderlord, red death and TLW

I hardly use Gjallarhorn in PvE. I regular crucible I use whatever, whenever.

Mostly Ghorn for PVE. I'm disappointed it's not moving forward but I'll adapt and I'm excited to see the new exotics

I use a total of four: Mytho, Hard Light, Yally, and Saint 14

I fully upgrade them if I have multiple of them. That's more like a quest for myself.

Hmm, well on Xbox I usually screw around with all the exotics since I currently own every single one that's available on that system ATM. On playstation however I love using the Hawkmoon, Thorn & Gally.
-
On a regular basis I switch between icebreaker and patience and time, pvp I switch to thorn, I don't have a whole lot so if o run outta gally shots on a fire sheild boss I switch to icebreaker again lol, icebreakers my crutch tbh
-
At least 12 regularly.
-
I move around between all my exotics.
-
In PvE the only exotic weapons I use are ghorn and SGA. In PvP I use TLW, vex, mida, Monte Carlo, suros, invective, truth.

Unless it's playing for fun, none but IB or now Ghorn. Why use the Vex when VoC is even better and doesn't use an Exotic Slot... When playing for fun I rotate through them all. All in regards to PvE however.. PvP gives you more incentives to use Exotic primaries but I don't really play Destiny PvP.. just arena shooting, had my fill of that long before now...
