REAL TALK: How many exotics do you really use?
So with all this talk about exotics being left behind I want to know something. Do you REALLY use all of your exotics? other than Gjallahorn,
red death and a few hand cannons I can say that I rarely use any of these. So which ones do you use regularly? don't lie either.
edit: seems like most people only use a few. maybe we don't need to bring all of our exotics into year 2? just an observation.

Other than ghorn almost never use any. Fang, LDRs, and a few shotguns are my load out. Keep ghorn on to hurry things up.

4th horseman, ice breaker, gjallarhorn....the rest are too situational

Gjallarhorn and Ice Breaker in PVE (the latter rather rarely recently) Thorn in PVP (I tried to switch to TLW and I like it but I haven't gotten there yet) Sometimes, when the Nightfall seems in favor, I experiment with things like Patience and Time etc, but since you can only carry a few weapons at a time and you always have to swap out the other exotic, for which you have to go into the menu blablabla, its really a pain in the ass so I don't bother with it too much, even though I might enjoy many of the exotics.

1 OdpowiedźI use all exotics except Red Death. I'm constantly changing loadout based on the situation. I hate pulse rifles. I still use Bad Juju when the situation arises though. Bungie will do what they will just as long as the new exotics outclass the old is all I care.

As few as possible, really. I prefer to go with pure legendary load outs, pulling exotics from the vault for specific purposes. The exceptions to this are: Lord of wolves Invective Hawkmoon As I just got my gallys, I am still figuring out if it really works well for me.

Yeah I more or less use two on a consistent basis. I'll use some randomly when patrol bounties come up, but not every time. I'm fine with some being left behind. I'm more upset about legendary armor being left behind. Stop taking customization away from the player base.

3 OdpowiedziI have every exotic besides necro (damn CRUX!!!) [and Plan C since I broke it down... useless fusion rifle], so let's see... Daily: Ghally and Thunderlord (PvE); Truth, Bad Juju, and Invective (PvP) Rarely: Vex (PvP on Cauldron Only), Ice Breaker (Vault of Glass Only) So not that many. Probably why I'm fine with most of the exotics not carrying over.

1 OdpowiedźOn my warlock: bad juju/obsidian mind is almost always on. But I have been using gjallarhorn/voidfang a bit more. On my Titan: saint 14, eternal warrior, ruin wings, acd/0, the armentium, and crest all get used regularly. Hawkmoon makes regular appearances on both characters as does icebreaker.

7 or 8 but really 3 or 4 regularly. The 7 or 8 is dependent on burns on nightfall.

1 OdpowiedźI was all happy when I got my Thorn/TLW. Leveled both of them up, never used them. Been sitting in my vault ever since. Aside from the Gally, the only exotic I'm constantly using is the Ice Breaker. Not sure how heavily I'll lean on it after the patch. Only have one so gotta swap it between characters. Only time I use other exotics is to level them up.

I own every single one and I've tried out most of them, I only ever use red death really. And gjallarhorn for pve when I run strikes or raids. I was planning on replacing my gjallarhorn with the sleeper simulant anyway after seeing that gameplay, and red death gets an upgrade for year two so I could care less what gets left behind.

Edytowany przez użytkownika AKS1: 8/24/2015 11:40:52 PMYour question is very short-sighted given the reason most people don't use a lot of their exotics is because Thorn and The Last Word are so obscenely overpowered. This also has a substantial effect on exotic special and heavy weapon variety, as you can only use one at a time. What a surprise people aren't using Patience and Time, Invective, or Truth as much when half of the people playing PvP have Thorn equipped, making it impossible to also have any of those weapons equipped.
