Is it just me or does nobody ever talk in the crucible? I sometimes play alone and for whatever reason never find anyone who has a mic in random lobbys... This is weird to me considering the competitive nature of the game... What are your thoughts? Bump up if you have a damn mic! (the video has random funny moments with friends in the crucinle) enjoy!

1 OdpowiedźSwitch to team chat...

5 OdpowiedziIt's the most frustrating on Xbox one cause literally every console comes with one!!!

1 OdpowiedźI usually only use a Mic when playing with my clan members or friends. I don't need to hear some immature player, and I say player because it isn't just kids, cuss every other word or scream into the Mic and rage every time they die or something doesn't go right.
-
1 OdpowiedźI work long hours and only have an hour or so before I go to bed and when I do play its late and my 2 little girls are sleeping and I don't want to wake them
-
1 OdpowiedźLol, thinking Destiny was competitive is a mistake. I jump into the crucible just to chill and don't really care to communicate. Not like you can set up private matches or have an actual tournament in this game.
-
1 OdpowiedźSimple answer. This game originally didn't have the ability for you to talk to your team mates only your fireteam. So no one talked. Everyone is use to this so no one talks even now when we can
-
1 OdpowiedźHow could you not have a Mic? I know Xbox one comes with a standard headset, but I'm sure about ps4

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika DangerMouseRoFl: 8/25/2015 12:13:25 AMI have a Bluetooth mic that turns on at the touch of a button. I just don't use it that much because I don't talk much. I'll only ever talk if I'm gaming with friends or doing Raids.
-
1 OdpowiedźBecause most random can't be helped
-
5 OdpowiedziI generally don't have my mic on because it's a pain in the ass to hook up all the wires. That and there are never any other talkers so it's a waste of effort. I generally hook up my mic if there are other people talking though, because teamwork and shizzles.

1 OdpowiedźEveryone does. Alot of anti-social people.
-
1 OdpowiedźI don't like to hear virgins talk.
-
1 OdpowiedźI don't want to hear randoms talking. Mostly its squeakers anyways.
-
7 OdpowiedziI don't usually have my mic on because I assume no one has theirs on and also I don't know how to activate it. Is it left on the directional pad,is it right? One is fireteam chat I think. The other is I don't know I forget but I would do it if more people did it and I knew how.

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Glass Jaw: 8/24/2015 7:55:08 PMEveryone's afraid that once they turn on their mic they'll be attacked by salty squeakers.

1 OdpowiedźBecause I'm playing with friends in a party. We talk about other stuff, how our day was, random things, friend stuff, you know. It's a not a conversation I want to share with strangers that rage over a control point. Even if it's called "competitive" it's still a game, games are for fun, and the best fun is with friends.

8 OdpowiedziYou ever played CoD? How annoying is it when they scream, bitch, whine, yell and worst of all...play their shitty music like we all really wanted to hear it! No thanks.
-
1 OdpowiedźIt's so peaceful without one.
-
1 OdpowiedźBecause people like me ruin it for everyone else... I even get on my own last nerve more often than I should . . . oO Not on purpose I might add....
-
Because they make us opt in to chat, rather than people just not use their mic if they don't want to. On Halo, all of the annoying people get auto muted because everybody muted them, so that was never a problem.
-
2 OdpowiedziHonestly, maybe 1/10 games there will be someone in chat. 1/10 games wipl the people in chat actually use their mics. I'm making callouts that could make or break a game and nobody is listening or giving their opinion. That's why I love playing with irl friends, my callouts matter and make the game.

18 OdpowiedziBecause that was one of the parts of cod I hated. I would always instamute people in cod lobbies, because of trash talking and 13 year old kids going "JEEEEEEEZZZ"
-
1 OdpowiedźI have a mic, but I leave it disconnected because I find it annoying to wear unless I plan to talk to other people. I just don't feel that is necessary in Crucible so I would rather not wear it. If it don't wear it, I don't connect it. I always wear it/connect it when using destinylfg.com to find groups for poe32+, raid, etc
-
1 OdpowiedźBecause I'm not in a raid or trials. I don't want to talk to neckbeards or listen to 12 year olds when i don't have to.
