You use Thorn and you think you're skilled. Why?

No, i use thorn and get nothing but heeadshots with it. Same with any other weapon

It was my first exotic, 15k kills with it, 99% of that was before Spring time. Then around March/April, everyone jumped on the damn bandwagon and now I can't stand to use the weapon. It ruined it for me. NLB is my new love. And TLW. I don't count TLW kills as 'skilled', but I admit, it makes you feel like a badass.

You can still have good map knowledge/strategy while using thorn and be skilled.

Thorn doesn't make you skilled, it means you know what the Meta is and you picked what works. That's called playing smart, yes we are all sick of the meta, we've got a few weeks to go, hang in there. After patch, still expect that good players will still win over bad players and your KD might not change (~.•)

Because I smack you every time with it and instead of doing something about it, you just cry "OP" and "no skill". If I have no skill and I still smack you, what does that make you?

Completed the PvP part using Atheon's Epilogue as my primary.....twice. After auto-rifle nerf.....ONCE (that was painful enough). 2. The gun doesn't aim itself. 3. The gun does't fire itself. 4. The gun doesn't position itself on the map in a Crucible map. 5. I use it like a regular hand-cannon. The only time I rely on the burn is to either: a. Break up team shooters. b. Harrass snipers c. Finish off someone I nearly beat in a 1v1. (Love the Post-mortems....)

Messenger and Hopscotch are more OP. Maybe up close not as much, but mid to long range definitely.

3 OdpowiedziI haven't used Thorn since I got TLW. And even then I still prefer not to use either because it's so cheap and honestly boring how they just make kills a cakewalk. I only really use TLW now for the handcannon bounty, Trials if I need to, or when the number of Thorns/TLWs on the other team is overwhelming my team. I prefer using Red Death, MIDA, VoC, The Messenger, Super Pox VLO, etc. I also very rarely use shotguns. I generally carry a sniper. Blink shotgunners are just as bad, if not worse, than people that only use Thorn/TLW.

Any exotic hand cannon for that matter.. There are other primaries to use like for instance messenger, I have noticed more people using fatebringers in crucible lately, and medium rof scout rifles.

17 OdpowiedziYou people act like you don't have to aim if you have thorn. What do you just run around with an auto rifle spaying hoping you hit someone? Yes thorn is OP. But you still have to aim and its no easier than any other weapon, it just does better damage. Here's a hint don't stand still and don't keep running in to be team shot.
