the price, exclusivity, lack of matchmaking options for end game, legendries in year 1 being obsolete, etc. All these things and maybe more still to come
please comment below what are the reason why you will buy or not, the vote is just a simple yes, no and maybe option, the little comment beside that is how I personally would feel when selecting the vote, so yes it will change for different views
I appreciate your vote and respect all your choices.
Edit: I have updated the post, to be more friendly, I hope this will be accepted

1 OdpowiedźI am done with Destiny until there is some sort of matchmaking for all activities. I am not going to maintain a friends list, much like a business maintains an active client list. I'm here to have fun, not to work to have fun...

Not a cash cow, but I don't think $40 is a lot of money. It cost that to take my wife to the movie.

The view looking out of the reef was worth £17.50 The view at caloris spires was worth £17.50 The 40 odd hours of trials was worth my £17.50 The 50 + hours I've spent in the arena was worth my £17.50 And the 2000 hours I spent on destiny and the dark below was worth £67.50 I think of all the other games I would've brought and then think how much I've saved and why my money is stacking because I'm playing destiny all the time. This game has saved me hundreds of pounds the least I can do is keep playing which I'm going to do anyway. I already have the money there for whatever bungie and Activision throws at me. People will call me a cash cow but not really I love this game. When destiny released and the dark below and house of wolves dropped, when I saw the taken king trailer I've felt like a kid at Christmas. Only one other game company can do that to me "Bethesda".

7 OdpowiedziI'm not a cash cow, I just enjoy the game and don't hate me for this but I actually believe that there's more content in ttk than there was in vanilla and I've already preordered the digital download. It probably also helps that my opinion on money is very low, I don't particularly care about it but that's kinda cuz I have a pretty good job, it's only part time and erratic but pays well, I don't exactly buy that much either so £40 for a game? Ok why not? Hugs and kisses to sad people, muah

Yes because there are many improvements to the base game on it's way.

1 OdpowiedźPfft. I don't even need the story in the taken King. I'll pay 40 bucks for the hammer. STOP! HAMMER TIME.
-
10 OdpowiedziIt costs $50+ to go to an amusement park for a day, hell even some parade/fairs cost this much... For $40 you get an expansion that will provide weeks if not months of play time... Get a job and shut the -blam!- up. /thread

3 OdpowiedziAfter having a couple of debate with some of my online friends we came across some very great points. 1. If they add transmogrification across legendary items from old to new not a problem if we can take old stats or perks. 2. The main problem with giving up old or new weapons is that most of us are just getting some of the weapons we have been playing to get. 3. They are not makin new guns just reskinned and renamed guns home many guns look like shadow price? Fatebringer? Shingen? Like they aren't even making better perks. 4. All the new guns shoot he same as the old some shoot slower some shoot faster but it's not worth giving up. 5. They have yet to make weapons worth giving up your old guns like nobody complained about putting down epilogue, because better auto rifles came out. 6. The stats on the guns never change and since reforging happened it's not many perks you can get on a set gun like 5-10 maybe.

3 OdpowiedziI'm just after the faction shaders and ships, then I'll be off. I'm a completionist, and I think the drop rate for most things in Destiny is very poor. I bet if guns, armour, shaders and ships dropped sooner, people wouldn't be so likely to stick around as long as they have. I would definitely come back from time to time just to mess around with strikes, but I wouldn't be on now if I had already got the aforementioned items. 90% of my regular crew are gone and not coming back. I won't be getting TTK, because the story is so lack lustre and because of the RNG. On another note, I can't see what the whole problem is with being able to level up weapons and armour. If people want to get rid of the old and dabble with the new, then let them. But if people wish to feel proud, loyal, euphoric towards their original gear, why is that not an option. If we are "Guardians", and this is supposed to be our Destiny, then why can't we make our guardians how we imagine them to be??

I will wait and see for this one to launch. I want to see what happens to my characters if I don't buy it and look at some reviews before I decide.

I'm in the maybe camp. There is alot about Destiny I do like. However, Bungie keeps insisting on finding ways to push me away from their game. Especially the lack of honesty and always trying to rick the players rather than just being straightforward. I am really looking forward to Fallout 4. I may get TTK to fill in the time gap. I have the money to do it. I am struggling with wanting to give it to such a greedy, lazy company. It is not all Actvision's fault as the fanboyz try to convince themselves. Bungie has as much control over the $$$ as Activision with their contract.

I will get it... think what you want... I've purchased MMA and boxing matches before where the fight is over in the 1st round... people still gotta pay it... to me it's whether I will get enjoyment out of the game

Edytowany przez użytkownika roman_emp85: 8/10/2015 10:47:31 PM$40 for a new area to explore, the Dreadnaught. Yeah, because that's so worth it! (Sarcasm). At least for the original $60 I got much more, the whole of vanilla Destiny. If I see real promise, I'll buy their product. But I won't jump on it. I won't miss much from the pre-order exclusives. Shaders. Yay. I hope they don't look like shit.
-
Lol more are on no/undecided then desticles. Not good for Bungie.
-
Ill buy it cuz i just play here and the and even with Ttk ill still be at $75 spent on it cuz i got the game for free

Edytowany przez użytkownika Boom: 8/10/2015 9:14:49 PMAll the things that are being added are gonna be worth it. The way we get exotics will be great, all the new guns/gear that will replace year one stuff. All the ways The gunsmith actually becoming relevant.
-
Edytowany przez użytkownika Augosyx: 8/10/2015 9:12:43 PMI'll get it just for the sake of my clanmates who still plays this game but not pre-ordering. Sure, missing out some good stuff but at this point, I don't really care much about exclusivity.
-
Edytowany przez użytkownika Aldrich: 8/10/2015 9:13:14 PMWould rather play Call of Doody. And I loathe CoD. But at least the controls are nice and snappy, and hit registration is on point. And as far as the loot system goes... I'd rather Auction House era Diablo 3. Played some WoW after the Raidfinder was introduced. Wasn't as catastrophic an experience as people told me it was going to be. Year one getring left in the dust, it's a necessary evil that stuff will be obsolete eventually, but in other MMOs, end game gear would be acceptable while you were developing your character.

3 OdpowiedziFor nearly everyone that plays the game they will dump more hours into that $40 expansion than any other $60 game that comes out.
-
Yes, because this game is fu¢king awesome!!!

I'm reserved on this issue. If I had my way, we'd all be on XBX One playing ESO, but my clan has chosen to stick it out with Destiny. Many of our members were new to shooters and feel too dedicated to the game to want to relearn a new game to play together. They feel like they are finally NOW able to hold their own without senior members watching over them, so I understand they are frustrated that some of us want to quit. With that said, all of my clanmates now feel confident and prepared to take on all the new challenges of TTK, especially the raid. They are all very excited to conquer the raid without being "taught" how to run the raids. It would be a shame to not be there for them to help them accomplish this.

2 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Twheeeeezy17: 8/10/2015 3:02:25 PMYea I got it... Destiny is more than content for me. It's one of the vessels I still talk to my friends. My best friend just moved, so I don't get to see him anymore. All my old college roomies are scattered all over. So destiny to me, is getting to run raids and bullshit with my friends for an hour or two to catch up. We all decided to get TTK. Since myself and others respect your opinions, I would also ask you respect mine, with you not calling me a cash cow when you don't know what destiny means to me. Thanks.

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika TheShadow: 8/10/2015 6:02:51 PMHow about the 4th option? People are buying because they just want to have fun and not worried about all the bullshit. Its actually hilarious on how many of you think bungie ows you. The fact is, they dont owe you jack shit. You chose to play and put the highest expectation there is on a new game. Who's fault is that? Wrong! Yours. We all know by now what the reality is of this game, how can anyone not know on how this forum is flooded with bullshit. Its actually pathetic to see how many of you just jump on the bandwagon. Funy thing is, where were you with all this bullshit with other games? Oh yeah, you were just forking out your money just like everyone else and didn't say a -blam!-ing word. Feed on this scrubs..... My post was to show just about the majority of the people on this forum on how you actually are Op
