Wtf is up with people sweating their balls off in normal crucible??
Every game I go into today it's 3 thorns and 3 last words on the other team, blink shotguns, arcbolt+firebolts, just in normal control. I get Xur selling tlw contributes and hand cannon bounty today but it takes 1 game to get 15 hand cannon kills like why is literally EVERYONE using crutch weapons. Can't wait for the weapon balance patch.

Refreshing to know that the majority of the replies were in agreement. Can't wait for more variety. It'll be a pleasure going up against all you guardians. ill still play pvp till 2.0 and ill still dominate and be at the top of the leaderboards each game with underpowered weapons, and when the time comes to actually put the try hard pants on in trials ill still go flawless.

I use TLW, sniper, and Btrd as my setup. I don't use the guns because I get a lot of kills with them, I use them because I like the gameplay with them. Never been in to using shotguns, never really cared for them. I'm an average player, love to have fun, and like trying out new guns. I've been playing for a while, grimoire is 3480, and I payed $400 for my ps4, $50 for another controller, $100 for some of the best internet, and abt $100 invested in the game. That's $650 I've got in destiny just to play, so I'll use the guns that I want to use. Period.

1 OdpowiedźYou answered your own question... because they're crutches and the majority of players seem to have broken legs. It's also pretty easy to say "just for the handcannon bounty" and then get so use to not having to try for your kills that you just "forget" to stop using it.

People are so blind lol. Personally I use the Adept Messenger in Crucible, Thorn in Trials because....cmon its obvious lol. But when you join a clash or control match of 12 and 10/12 are using the last word/thorn (Have had situations where I was actually the only one out of 12 not using TLW in my lobby) does that not blatantly tell you bungie goofed on these exotic handcannons. No reason to complain now due to the weapon tune coming but cmon seriously....the amount of arrogance is cringey lol.

ugh so annoying. anyone who is good competition with me in rumble is usually using thorn or TLW. i just want to message them after the game (if i lose of course lol) and say something like "nice crutch" or " bet you cant win without your beloved hand cannon" try some different guns! cant wait for 2.0

Personally though, my All Fate, Felwinter's, and Gally combo is nice in the Crucible. Especially when it was just the All Fate that got me to 21.0KDR last week. #win

2 OdpowiedziI stopped use my thorn and tlw because everyone was using em and started using hopscotch pilgrim or another pulse rifle....these try hards just make me laugh especially when they teabag you when they kill you...like wow really impressed u blink shotgunned me after firing off all your thorn rounds lol

I don't really understand your question. If you have a good gun why not use it? I don't think about the game as deeply as you do I guess. To me a gun is a gun and if it helps me do better I use it. Doesn't matter to me how others classify or think about that gun.

I go 20+ kills with nlb on a daily basis. Nothing beats a one shot weapon of you can aim

I get where you're coming for. I've used nlb and vestian in rumble and won, and it was the most fun i had because i beat my friend who also is ar max grimiore (so you know he's pretty decent at rumble) and just talked mad shit. But idk when i was chasing max i used the best weapons possible, when im playing to win i use the best things around. I want to bring my kd up and so ill use what helps me the most.

Ultimately it's Bungie's fault that this nonsense wasn't patched a long time ago, it's no different in my mind to the infinite golden gun exploit, just broken game mechanics that break the game. Stick to the inferno play list, there seems to be more competent players in there, or go fusion rifle and show those shotgun try hards what it's like to be melted by a skillful player :D
