I go into crucible with whatever weapons I want. Friggin pvp scrub.

4 OdpowiedziYou know what is "scrubby"? Wanting to play against teams much worse than you so you feel good.

1 OdpowiedźSkill based matchmaking is never fun... I'm pretty good at FPS in general to the point where every game that has skill-based matchmaking results in -blam!-ing gay try-hard -blam!--fests that end in me raging way too frequently. If I am better than 90% of players, why shouldn't I get to play like it? I will get matched with (and have been before) better players that can outplay me. No big deal. But when I have to struggle every match to pull off a 1.0 because of try-hard bullshit, I will not continue to play PvP.

3 Odpowiedzi1. Your PVP kd is sub par so you can't talk. 1.2 average doesn't make you a God so PVE players are entitled to their opinion. 2. Skill based matchmaking leads to more competitive play and effectively makes stuff more fun. 3. Mercy rule makes sense. No point in playing a game where you're winning by 15k. It's not a stupid ass move. You're just a hella average noob who gets mad for no reason.

Fantastic news - thanks for bringing this to my attention

22 OdpowiedziWhy is this a bad thing? I'm an avid pvp'er but the point of Crucible is to have competition not pub-stomp the crap out of people and ruin their crucible experience bc matchmaking sucks. This is a welcomed change imo.
-
Just.....what? What reasons do you actually have for thinking this is a bad idea? We all know by now that crucible rewards are not given to best performing players. If a match finishes early and you end with a slightly lower kd than you would've anyway, what difference does it make? You can still pull up your stats, whip your cock out and crack one out to your, honestly, very average kd in a virtual game as much as you want. Your (average) kd will only be slightly slower I'll clarify, I don't care about you having an opinion on this. What pissed me off is your title. One of those asshats with the whole PvP scribe, PvE master race bullshit you seem to be spouting.
-
This sounds like a great idea. Sorry you can't pas your KD with easy kills for an entire game anymore

1 Odpowiedźwhat if i take a friend of mine as the party leader and he is lvl 3 ? will we get match to people my level or his level

12 OdpowiedziSome people will learn really fast that skill based matchmaking is a terrible idea.

2 OdpowiedziI think your missing the point. The mercy rule speeds up game play. Whats the point, even when your wining, to keep playing a team that has no chance on wining? Close the match and start a new one. Its like picking on a little kid. Unless you get your rocks off on being the local bully, runing up the score, or other crowing about how you beat some team by 15,000 points, get your win and move on.

Lel PVE scrub, if you do raids, nightfalls, strikes etc. If you do any of this you are also a PVE scrub.

1 OdpowiedźOh big deal now you can't get matches where you can artificially raise your KD. This is where you'll start seeing the real 1% not some of the 1% that get matched against average people.
-
I think it's funny how all these players are saying skill based MM is bad because good players will artificially degrade their K/D to be paired with lower skilled players. I hate to break it to you but if you artificially lower your K/D that makes you a bad player not a good player. It's basically saying "I'm too much of a B.I.T.C.H. To be able to play people at a similar skill level!" I know there will be people out there doing it but I personally never would and any self respecting player wouldn't. I'm also sure bungie will bring down the ban hammer for people who do artificially decrease their K/D cause it seems like they want to support a fair fight system and not just sit back and let noobs get stomped all day. It's a pretty easy thing to tell cause if your were averaging a 2.0 K/D before TTK and within the first 2 weeks you drop to .5 K/D then you obviously did it on purpose.
-
Is there any type of ranking being implemented? Or is it just based on kd?
-
11 OdpowiedziAs I'm fairly bad at PvP it will be nice to not go against mlg pros who live on pvp. What's wrong with playing someone at your skill level?
-
Game informer article says nothing about a mercy rule lol

What the mercy rule?

1 OdpowiedźMercy rule means there will be no more pubstomps in destiny pvp RIP PUBSTOMPS
