Salty Iron Banner Players?
I use my warlock if you want to see my IB games :) Alright guardians here's the thing, recently I have been getting a lot of hate messages on how I do in iron banner with most of them going along the lines of "Enjoy your ban cheater!" When I ask why it's usually an answer saying I cheat using outside resources to do good in the game ( I usually am top of the leader board when my try hard panties are on) I can swear on my life that I use nothing to manipulate the gameplay of mine or others so I know I wasn't cheating, just trying hard for the 10-0 bounty on IB. Has anyone else ran into these salty players or gotten messages like this? I've revieved around 4-5 of these messages since IB july 28th...

its probably because you are lagging, ive reported loads of players and ive probably been reported plenty myself, id only send a message if the lag was bad. im sure you are a good player, but at times you gotta realise the lag is real and it will work in your favour as well as against you

3 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Von Kunst: 7/30/2015 6:13:24 PMNope never got a msg, but I myself sent a msg to a guy that I recorded teleporting around the map, I told him that I'm sending a vid of him cheating into bungie, he became very defensive and swore he wasn't cheating, I told him what it looked like on my end and that if he wasn't cheating then it wouldn't matter. Anyway moral of the story, I legitimately thought this guy was cheating, but I also kind of believed him when he told me he wasn't...is this game so laggy at times that people will look like cheaters wen they aren't?....also some ppl are just idiots and see a red bar as cheating

Hell they were probably hosting the match. In a P2P hosting environment the chosen match host will always have the advantage. This is why you can't call destiny competitive. The playing field of the match isn't fair. You may notice this when watching youtube vids of hot kill streaks. Why does it always seem the vid maker gets the jump on every player? And every foe he takes on seem sluggish compared to him? Lag. That's why. Destiny can never be considered competitive in it's current P2P hosting design.

1 OdpowiedźDamn dude, the same thing happened to me. Just playing a nice game of iron banner game and got hate for using a "Lag Swicth". The guy who sent it to me missed every thorn shot wile i was able to get away.
