How many of you are honest enough to admit that you use weapons that you don't like, just because you think you do better with them?
Please explain...

I like this post. I switch between my last word, over soul edict, thorn and vex mythoclast depending on the map and other players. I do feel bad when I use my thorn because I'm not dumb...I know it's op. But before it was considered so...I yearned for it and worked my booty off to obtain it...so I guess, it is what it is.

Poll is currently 3800 what I do best, 3339 what I want. Use whatever I feel like at the time NLB at times.

I like using TLW over Thorn. Getting kills with TLW feels just a little less undeserved than thron

1 OdpowiedźI like the feel of a 45 caliber glock in my hand but if I'm going up against a squad of men using mech armor that interfaces with my neural net via a 3 inch diameter anal probe, then it's time to blow out my o-ring. I loved playing with autorifles in all activities and they were turned into paperweights so I reluctantly had to try other weapons. But the name of the game is Time To Kill, and you play with the cards you are dealt.

If I'm trying hard to win I use thorn because it's op. I wish it was a bit more balanced and everything worked well. I can never use the guns that are fun or different because they suck compared to everything else.

I will use the hear that gets me the best performance. I would love to be good with thorn but for some reason im nowhere nearly as good with that as I am with hawkmoon, so thats what I use

I swap between the main three exotic hand cannons depending if I'm sniping or shot gunning. But TLW is my favourite gun once I learn to use it. Previously it was Thorn. If I feel like a change I use red death messenger or no land beyond occasionally MIDA

I was tanking games this morning with thorn and a shotty so I switched it up to using praedyths timepiece and LoW not only did I enjoy getting kills more but I did better too.

2 OdpowiedziI need to switch it up. Otherwise it gets stale very quickly. Sucks though because I'm dying to use suros or an auto rifle but I get out gunned every time. Can't wait for 2.0

1 OdpowiedźI use OP weapons because everyone else does. Im pretty good in crucible, but if i know Thorn gives me an edge im only hurting myself by not using it.

It gets birding using the same weapon all the time. Every now and then I switch it up.

I absolutely play with what i want. I don't care at all about K/D and if you look at my profile it shows with what a lot of people consider an abysmal ratio but i don't care. I try to have fun and if that means using my 334 no upgrades pocket infinity and a fatebringer in rumble, i will do it. (Btw i won a game that way)

I don't use what I don't like. Thorn, for example, is ruined for me. I have it sitting in my vault and probably will NEVER use it, even though it's a crucible monster.
