i stop playing after crota end, but when trials came out it hook me up again! i like this play style elimination

I always try to play a bit to either raise my medal score, turn in bounties for faction rep, or finish the triumph crap (i just need about 30 public eventes ugh), i end up getting bored fast as hell and just play something else or leave the house Destiny isnt the same anymore

I stopped playing over a month ago and wont be coming back. It started during tdb i physically winced and felt despressed at the though of churning out bounties i just couldnt face them anymore and patrolling soon started having the same effect. Not long after i was doing strikes and i just sat there thinking why am i doing these same level over and over the fun had gone it was a race to the end to get the drudgery over with fast as possible i soon stopped them aswell. At this time i had almost all vog and crota weapons and every exotic bar monte carlo. I was ready to stop playing tge game then but how dropped. I'd not have bought it seperately but id already payed for it with tdb expansion pass. For two weeks i found new joy on the how i did the queens bounties and enjoyed them. I dived into poe. And id started to play pvp a bit more. The first two weeks were fun! I completed skolas a few times and enjoyed ascending guns. Into week three the sinking feeling returned poe was beginning to become boring the queens bounties were becoming boring stood around waiting for a damn ship you'd done multiple times already the lack of content was undeniable. I tried the trials a few times with randoms because people were splitting off into sneaky groups of three and excluding anybody who didnt play a lot of pvp or lacked certain kd ratios etc etc. One morning i was sat at the planet screen flicking through everything seeing what id like to do that day and i couldnt decide what to do everything i hovered over with my narker made me feel down and repulsed. I realised right there this was it the fun had gone i switched it off and its not been back on since. All the bad business practices and the uk ttk price being $63 us dollars further aluenated me. Luke smiths throw money at the screen comments and the weapon nerfs update has for me been the final nail in the coffin.

It got boring. The game is incredibly addictive but the content is incredibly lacking. I'm not wasting 40 pounds on a DLC that I'll tear through in a month or less. How absurdly overpriced The Taken King is has put me off completely from Destiny. The only thing I'll miss from it that'll be worth is the raid and Nightstalkers. But that's not worth 40 under any circumstances. If TTK were 20, as an actual DLC should be, then sure I'd buy it no problem. But TDB and HoW which should have been 9.99 at most were overpriced so I'm done putting money into this franchise and in this company. And I'm not even getting into this 'competitive-balanced' multiplayer garbage they've created because it couldn't be further from the truth. There are much better games out there whos developers don't as outright lie as Bungie does and actually treats their communities correctly. Much rather spend my money on them because they deserve it. And Thats exactly what I'm going to do.

I maxed out all 3 characters, have every exotic gun and armor, have all the desired raid weapons except pretorian foil, beat skolas, went flawless in trials. There's really nothing more for me to do so now I spend my days playing GTA 5 or COD AW

Because I am at work, when I get home, after eating supper and chatting with the wife it is game on as usual.

I need Skolas, 5 gold chests, and the dead ghosts from both DLCs. Unfortunately, all my buddies finished that stuff up when I wasn't around and don't wanna run it again. LFG and the recruitment section haven't been useful at all for Skolas, for whatever reason I never get any messages or invites or responses to messages from any one there. That's just kinda turned me off to even burning through the side stuff quickly on my own. Hell, I can't even do Trials cuz whenever my usual fire team is on and willing, they're full. So really, I've stopped playing because the community became less reliable.

I have all the exotics that are useful including Gjallarhorn. PoE is boring after you get all 3 elder ciphers there is no reason in ever doing it again. Just waiting on ttk to drop.
