Are you good at PvP?
I can tell you. I won't be able to make a 100% true statement if I can't play with you though, sorry non Xbox 360 users. However I will be able to make a strong estimate. In my experience a higher kd means more skill. Mostly anyways. The current scale I use:
Bad: < 0.5
Need improvement: > 0.5 < 1
Average: > 1 < 1.5
Good: > 1.5 < 2
Highly skilled: >2
Again as I said the only 100% way to know is through gameplay. So I can personally test any on 360. However for the other consoles I ask that skilled players from each one pick up my slack and play with them. Experience is always better than just simply reading a stat. Even though stats are accurate it's not the whole truth.
Edit: It would be helpful if I could get others to help players tell. It's hard to get too so many people with so little time.

Average to Good. First few months were abyssmal, but no intention to restart just to pad my K/D. And I do not get sweaty every time I play. Normal Crucible is fun to try out new guns and builds :-)

Im below average i guess, but only play it now and again for a laugh. (me likey iron banner) And thankfully my ego is in check, so im not bothered in the slightest how good or bad i am :)

Above average, then. Think my overall k/d is around 1.5, last I looked. But I also don't do much crucible, either.

I am trying to get better, I don't just use HC's shottys, but try other weapons as well. I would say I am probably in the needs improvement section.

2 OdpowiedziThe character I've used most in PVP was my hunter and based on your scale it is in the good scale range. Recently started playing with my Titan and warlock too so since there was not too much learning curve involved then they should be good as well

I pvp solely with a Titan. I've used the same character since launch. I play alone 99% of the time. I use multiple weapon types. I don't rely on the crutch guns to do well like 99% of the tryhards in this community. So yeah I can say I'm hella better than most players in this game.

If I'm on a team with objective ignorers, quickscopers (yes, I'm seeing them quite a bit now), or AKF'ers, I'm probably gonna end up hiding somewhere till the match is over. I refuse to break my neck for uselessly shitty teams.
