Are you good at PvP?
I can tell you. I won't be able to make a 100% true statement if I can't play with you though, sorry non Xbox 360 users. However I will be able to make a strong estimate. In my experience a higher kd means more skill. Mostly anyways. The current scale I use:
Bad: < 0.5
Need improvement: > 0.5 < 1
Average: > 1 < 1.5
Good: > 1.5 < 2
Highly skilled: >2
Again as I said the only 100% way to know is through gameplay. So I can personally test any on 360. However for the other consoles I ask that skilled players from each one pick up my slack and play with them. Experience is always better than just simply reading a stat. Even though stats are accurate it's not the whole truth.
Edit: It would be helpful if I could get others to help players tell. It's hard to get too so many people with so little time.

I average a little over 1 recently but a lot of poor play when I started dragged it down a lot. I also tend to play with guns against the norm for an extra challenge so I get beat by op guns a lot. did get 28 kills with a 1.7 kd with my titan (least favorite character) using a NLB/shadow of veils load out last night. pretty proud of that :)

1 OdpowiedźYour an idiot if you think KD bases off a good player. I play a lot of sweaties that messes up my KD. Many other players that do sweaties often may agree with me.

I'm average but, in my defense, i have only really started hitting the crucible hard since ToO came about so i think its fair to assume i am playing against somewhat tougher opposition as opposed to getting stuck in on day one when i bought the game (and played PvE almost exclusively)?? I now spend most of my Destiny time in PVP trying to, how does it go, Git Gud?

I'm an on and off player. Sometimes I barely get 1.0, other times I easily clear 2.0

I've been playing pvp for about a month now. Im getting there, I doubt ill be able to get as good as I was when I was in halo 3, but I think im a smart player.

8 OdpowiedziI'm decent now, but I used to be terrible when the game first came out. I believe my k/d is a 1.1 or 1.2 right now but I get top 1-3 on my team almost every game.

1 OdpowiedźI would consider myself good, but my kd doesn't show it to well, as I sucked when the game came out. Now I commonly get 2.0+ kd and yesterday I got a 38 kill 7.6 kd.
