Are you good at PvP?
I can tell you. I won't be able to make a 100% true statement if I can't play with you though, sorry non Xbox 360 users. However I will be able to make a strong estimate. In my experience a higher kd means more skill. Mostly anyways. The current scale I use:
Bad: < 0.5
Need improvement: > 0.5 < 1
Average: > 1 < 1.5
Good: > 1.5 < 2
Highly skilled: >2
Again as I said the only 100% way to know is through gameplay. So I can personally test any on 360. However for the other consoles I ask that skilled players from each one pick up my slack and play with them. Experience is always better than just simply reading a stat. Even though stats are accurate it's not the whole truth.
Edit: It would be helpful if I could get others to help players tell. It's hard to get too so many people with so little time.

Stats matter more than experiencing a few games someone plays

Im alright I can have a 1.5 but I rush alot and die but when I started the game back in october I had a 1.5 23true skill I never pved so pvp was all I did

Only on certain days, if I'm alert I'm on fire but my K/D doesn't do its justice, changing load outs for fun to get 0.6 K/D makes me look bad. You tell me though, I probably fall in the average PvPer.

4 OdpowiedziMy view non OBJ KD. 0-1 not good, needs improving. 1.01-1.49 average. Killing more than being killed. 1.5-1.99 good your a decent slayer. 2+ you're a good slayer. My view OBJ KD. 0-0.96 not good, needs improving. 0.97-1 average OBJ player. 1.01-1.49 very good OBJ player. 1.5+ insanely good OBJ player.

I can't carry but I don't drag the team down either in Trials. For Iron Banner, I'm regularly top 2-3 in score whether I'm alone or not. I tend not to care about death as much as most but I'm trying to cut down on bad decision making and challenging while hurt, etc. to improve my KDR. Currently sitting around 1.2 on all characters.

I think I'm better than my kd suggests. Probably on the skill level of about 0.20 higher than what it actually is. Only recently got back into pvp after a good 6 months of solid pve
