Hello everyone. You may remember me from my, "Prove you can spell" post. Now, it's time for round two.

So, is this true or false orrrr? Because that question is an inaccurate statement depending upon our understanding of the universe. But because our understanding of the universe is whatever is before infancy at best, we have no way to know if that's true or not. Multiple particles exist that appear to distort space. Multiple particles exist that actually do distort space. We don't know 1% of 1% of 1% about them, why they exist, their origins, or if they can even be detected. What we do know is that there are forces and energies in our universe that far exceed our understanding or ability to understand. Over 90% of what our universe is made of is both invisible and has no solid mass that we can touch. The other 10% still has things that make literally no sense to us. We have no idea what a Higs-Boson particle is nor do we know what a black hole is. So, in short, yes. There do exist particles that can manipulate our vision to the extent that the Earth will appear 1 inch thick. Do we know them? Not really

Someone answering this question doesn't prove they're smart it proves they have knowledge. Intelligence versus and understanding of a particular version of mathematics. Those are two very different things.

It'd be a lot shorter than that and what you are referring to is called special relativity and Einstein's postulates on the speed of light. Time and distance dilation to be precise with the standard formula being t(square root) 1-(v squared/c squared) College physics ughhhh
