How can that be ok? Less than 100hrs BETWEEN xb-one and ps4. In the 9-10 months since drop thats like 30 minutes or less a day , thats not much, and doesn't inspire confidence in OUR community manager. How can i not be in absolute disbelief? Thats crazy! It doesn't make me believe anything he has to say about this game. C'mon DeeJ step up and actually play the game with the community yer supposed to represent, please.
Edit 1. I don't expect him to play 40 hrs a week, But 2-3hrs a week is not even close to a community manager ,be real.
Edit 2 you can check my stats at destiny tracker to confirm i have over 85 days in game. I have deleted characters that the bungie app doesn't track anymore so its not accurate like destinytracker is.
Edit 3 they have hired a second community manager to help DeeJ, lets hope he can get DeeJ to actually play.

7 OdpowiedziThat's his work account. Bungie employees sign a contract swearing not to play Destiny without approval as it would be a conflict of interest. They may start sympathizing and be inclined to improve the game.
-
5 OdpowiedziHe's a public relations guy, literally a mouth piece I wouldn't sweat it.
-
1 OdpowiedźCommunity manager = mouthpiece for corp. That is all.

1 OdpowiedźThat's why his response to the need for more vault space was "it's time to define your guardian." He doesn't realize from first hand experience that you need weapons for PvE and PvP. Since Bungie forces those two to overlap (you have to do things in PvP to get things you need for PvE and vice versa) you CANNOT define yourself as one type. And then in PvE you have to have weapons in that set with all the elemental damages too. But he doesn't realize that from experience either. He just goes along with whatever pablum the devs feed him because they're too lazy to make more vault space, and he basically just has to accept what he's told because he hasn't played enough to know they're feeding him BS. It would seem to me a community manager as absent as he is from the forums would have plenty of time to be in game playing.

4 OdpowiedziThats not the account he would play on. Thats the account bungie pays for him, he has his own private account that he plays on. Plus, he has a job doesnt he?
-
88 OdpowiedziThe reason he dont play. He know the game is garbage.

He probably does not like grinding either.

Edytowany przez użytkownika gallp13: 7/12/2015 9:10:22 AMDeej job is to pass on JASON JONES approved comms. In essence his role is about external affairs management not Community engagement. Community Management involves genuine interaction with the Community eg. Interacting with users on forums, in game, at Conferences on social media etc. EA Managers don't need on line cred. as their role has nothing to do with community engagement. Don't be confused by Deejs title. It can make you misunderstand Deejs actual role. Pay attention to his actual behaviour.

4 OdpowiedziHow can you advocate change and progress when you've no base line in which to measure? Lack of experience with the product as a community manager is a bad thing.
-
3 OdpowiedziWhat do you mean? "How can that be okay" Who cares you brat, he is a grown man. Also, he obviously has a personal account.

5 OdpowiedziPart of Whats wrong with this world is all The people worried about what other people do. How much he plays has no effect on you

1 OdpowiedźEdytowany przez użytkownika chrisEm: 7/13/2015 1:16:20 AMThis is the dumbest thread ever created and solidifies the Destiny community as one of the worst in gaming. Now we're complaining about the community managers total play time... Jesus.. And you have over 85 days in game? That is so incredibly sad and you really need to get a new hobby.
-
9 Odpowiedzi"community manager" His job is to manage the community, not play the game...
-
1 OdpowiedźWho cares. If at 100 hours you don't have a complete knowledge of all things destiny, than that's your fault.
-
I would prefer that a Community manager actually take part in interacting with the community. Not necessarily playing but actually responding to topics that are effecting the community. Not some guy just shilling the next DLC.

4 OdpowiedziDEEJ, Have you leveled a character from start to max level or have you always played on fully leveled characters? In other words, have you ever actually experienced the grind from start to finish? Just curious.
-
Maybe @ Bungie HQ he's had the game we thought we were buying and he's starting on Destiny 2 just using a different account.
-
2 OdpowiedziPerhaps he budgets his time more wisely?!?
-
2 OdpowiedziHe got called out as a "casual FAN" not player. Just sayin'.
-
4 OdpowiedziThe reason is because he takes more time talking about the game and trying to improve it rather than playing it all the time.
-
Its okay. They just add guns on his profile. They admitted it on the HoW livestream
-
9 OdpowiedziYeah, because I am totally going to play on an account with my name on it if I am the goat. It is his professional account, it doesn't mean he is going to play the game on it, that would be inviting a whole lot of BS every time he logged in.
