Trials of Osiris.. We're getting ripped off..
Allow me to put this in the most simple terms possible so that the trolls might be able to understand...
There are many players that have no real shot at ever getting a 9-0 streak in the trials..
With that said .. Those people that PAID just as much for the content as everyone else should have access to that content..
In essence we are NOT getting what WE PAID FOR..
EDIT.. All of you that posted offensive comments were reported and muted.. your comments were unwarrented and rather dull anyway...
Those of you that did comment with sensable and valid points I thank you for your input...
One of you did make the comment that with the LAG and the vast amount of lagswitchers/cheaters it does indeed cheat me from the content that I have paid for... Therefore I am being ripped off......
Edit 7/5/15... DUE TO THE CURRANT LAG AND THE SHEER AMOUNT OF LAG/SWITCHERS AND CHEATERS IN THE TRIALS THE THOUGHT THAT I AND MANY OTHERS ARE BEING RIPPED OFF....
THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE POSTED NOTHING INTELLIGENT SHOULD STAY OFF THESE FORUMS...
(i.e. "get gd scrub) is NOT an intelligent response... odds are I could decimate many of you in the crucibles..... The FACT is that I allow my GRANDCHILDREN and Children to play on my account so MY currant K/D means nothing compared to my actual skill.... you trolls that seem to hold your K/D;s as "sacred" should step outside and maybe get some sunlight once in awhile
edit....One final word for the trolls... The Term.. "SCRUB" was originally slang for those in PVP games that either used crutch weapons or blatantly cheated... learn the terminology before you use it... you are only making yourselves look uneducated...
Final Edit.. I have had to resort to reporting over 60 replies due to their blatantly disrespectful comments.... it truly is a shame that so many of you are rather immature..

Jesus you're entitled aren't you? Pretty sure when you first got destiny, you didn't have all the best armour and all the best weapons straight away? For -blam!-s sake, trials comes along, and for once you actually have to [b][i]earn[/i][/b] something and not rely on random drops, then you get massive whiners like yourself who think it should be just handed to them. No, sorry, not gonna happen. Either go and earn it or suck it up that you're not good enough.

1) there are no participation medals in the real world 2) all the adept weapons are pvp oriented and only have burns to signify that they were acquired by reaching the lighthouse 3) if everyone is handed adept weapons, they're meaningless.

1 OdpowiedźSome people can't do the raids because they have problems getting into groups. Going 9-0 is really not that hard with the boons you can go 7-1 and get there. You are acting like you are entitled to the weapons/loot you get from Trials when you have not even earned it!!! Get a group of people (preferably the same 2 players you plan to do trials with) and play skirmish with that group and practice team work and communication it will help you a lot. I just don't get all the people saying they should have access to the content when they have not even earned the right to. If you feel like your getting ripped off then don't buy the next expansion and quit playing. There is no reason to whine about not being able to the lighthouse and then expect Bungie to just hand you the loot since you couldn't get to the lighthouse. I see a lot of kids who really really suck make it to the lighthouse and there are plenty of streamers on twitch who carry people every weekend to the lighthouse.

Damn tried so hard the past two nights just to get to 5. Highest got was 4 wins with 7 mins before reset. Smh.

I agree with the lag switching issues. However the whole I'm getting ripped of thing I do not. I'm mostly a over player, at the same time I'm not to shabby at pve. It's the trials not crucible, it is intended to be hard. A place for the upper eshelon of pvp players not any who that can click in although you and I to have a shot if we dare. You don't see the NFL or NBA letting jerry from down the block in with his walmart gear just so he don't feel jipped. Therefore when I do try the trials, which I lose at I take my most op weapons, Thorn so on. I mean I don't want to go hunting Bear with a pellet gun.

One to way to not feel as if you're being ripped off...is[spoiler]to not play the game..or sell it[/spoiler] You're clearly gonna run into cheaters at some point...but if you don't just have a good team and try to win the match..pretty simple...if people are using thorn or tlw or red death..then snipe from afar

Not everyone can complete every game its a challenge. With sone luck and help from the community this can still be achieved. If it was given to you cos you "threw money at the screen" then where would the sence of accomplishment come from? Hope this is not what you are teaching your kids, to throw money at something and you get what you want. If everyone and their dog could do it easy then what's the point of playing it for a challange? Sorry sir but you like a lot of the others need to put on your big boy pants and work at things.

Bungie can certainly do more to manage the cheating in ToO. As for lag they should implement a minimum average ping monitor if you connection goes above that for more than 30 seconds you're booted with error code 'GitGudNet'. However not being good enough to explore all the content isn't being ripped off at all.

So what would be the point of trials if everyone could get the flawless weapons regardless of whether they went flawless in trials? Essentially handing the same stuff to everyone regardless of skill or achievements would be the real ripoff

Once upon a time, I bought super meat boy, and made it my goal to beat the whole game. I did not. However, I did not feel ripped off. I payed to play the game, I didn't pay to give myself all the achievements. Just like you, you bought house of wolves, and made it your goal to beat Trials of Osiris. You, like me, did not. However, you shouldn't feel ripped off. You payed to play the game, not for the rewards. Thus, the second thing we could have in common is simple. We had fun. Always have your eyes on the prize, but you know the old saying. The joy is in the journey.

As you are apparently an enforcer of putting things in the simplest of terms, allow me to put this to you. When I was 7 years old I used pocket money to buy Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for my Sega MegaDrive. The fact that I had paid for it did not entitle me to skip straight to the final level. Nothing has changed. You still have to be good at the game to reach the end, just like you did in 1994.

I am sorry to say that: THIS IS A PVP ENDGAME ACTIVITY This was never meant to be easy to access for everyone. PvP players didn't have anything Befor HoW droped. (IB i don't count as a PvP Endgame Content) Trials of Osiris was always for the Hardcore Crucible players. Try to get a solid team, get a good Weapon setup and Crush the Enemie

I would put trials in the same boat as raids in WoW. Not everyone sees the end game content. It's all there. You just have to reach it.
