The Supreme Court has legalized homosexual marriage throughout the United States. Are you happy about this decision or not?

I am, who am I to condemn Adam's preference? whether it be Eve or Steve.

1 OdpowiedźI think it took way too long for this victory of civil rights. Remember when women couldn't vote? That was like, a hundred years ago. Remember when segregation was a thing? How embarrassing! American traditions have caused several delays in allowing ALL of its citizens to enjoy the freedoms that it claims to harbor. Thankfully, brave men and women have come forward to help those who deserve to be treated humanely. I think it's great to see such progress in my lifetime.

19 OdpowiedziThe government should stay out of the sanctity of marriage. Separation of church and state ya know. If things were kept that way gay marriage would have been done long long ago
-
1 OdpowiedźI am an equalist and am happy for them. But I equally hate them. I'm always happy to see a straight wedding. Still hate them. I hate everyone equally. None more none less :) I'm not racist, sexist, or hate sexual orientation. I hate everyone the same. That is how you truly become an equalist

2 OdpowiedziThere is no reason not to be estatic about this change. The US should not use religion to govern itself. Gay marriage is a choice people make, and others need to accept that.

1 OdpowiedźTo all the Christians saying its against THEIR bible not every ones Christian they don't have to follow your rules. So shut the fück up.

I'm not happy with it, but I support it. Two people who love each other should be able to marry each other. For those who say that's not what the bible says. Homosexuals aren't married by the church, but by the law. Just remember this, separation of church and state. Just because the bible says "no gay marriage"(in other words) doesn't mean that will effect the legal decision on this topic. Plus we have freedom of religion, so why would the state listen to one religion out of the plenty others. There's nothing morally wrong with gay marriage.

3 Odpowiedzi69% percent of the people who said yes don't really know what is to come

Sure, I don't see why the hell not.
-
I could honestly care less about what gays do if it doesn't stop me from being happy why would it matter
-
2 OdpowiedziMy "No" has nothing to do with homosexually. Frankly, I find it extremely totalitarian for the Fed to define who can and cannot get "married." It's stupid. If it wasn't for taxes, this would be a non-issue.
-
i like seeing people be happy, the world would be great if there wasnt so many grumple stiltzskins

Friend of mine sent me a couple of links where individuals who oppose marriage equality are saying they want to move to Australia as we still don't have marriage equality here. -blam!- outta here, you're not welcome.

Of course I support it, they should be free to do what makes them happy. It's only if they go around flaunting it which pretty much supports all the stereotypes that annoys me.

6 OdpowiedziEdytowany przez użytkownika Autolycus: 6/28/2015 3:59:50 AMCopious amounts of not caring. Tax breaks for homosexual couples, such a monumental step towards...... something. But good for anyone who benefits from it. Also, the way the US went about it was pretty stupid. Ireland did it perfectly. Doing it through the Supreme Court doesn't make sense. Tax breaks for homosexual couples has sweet F all to do with the constitution.

5 OdpowiedziFor the record, the Supreme Court isn't forcing churches to hold marriage services for the gay couples, the Court is only ruling that individual states can't ban it on a legal level. You all still have your separation of church and state.
No shit, i have one equipped on my warlock which i just rerolled for it (efrideet's) because of all these stupid posts. You can no longer get one so if you already have one, you can keep it but it will be less of a problem in the future with no more players able to obtain it.
