I'm mainly on your side but give bungie some credit. They should have made the game next gen. only and this wouldn't be a problem. The ps3 and xbox 360 are holding back the game due to their limitations.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Helios 2117: 6/25/2015 6:34:58 PMBungie has stumbled (not so gracefully) so far with Destiny on several occasions (it has become apparent that they are not the Bungie I remember from the Halo days), but they certainly deserve credit for listening and making improvements to the game (still much work to be done). They have great ideas, clear passion, and are bold enough to experiment with an unusual game model. As someone who plays destiny primarily on the 360, I'm grateful they didn't neglect us for the first entry into the new universe - I understand there are technical issues at play and that it holds back the current generation for the time being, but if Bungie continues to improve the game, and the way they do business with the community, I'll be excited to transition to Destiny 2 on the next gen.

True. I cant remember the gamertag but someone in the comments suggested tue game as it is now and continued improvements on the last gen. While next gen. Can download a "new version" (same game) with different updates. But this could lead to some problems
-
Being serious, there could be a "lite" version for old gen, and full version for next gen. No reason whatsoever to not add a tabbed or paged vault to next gen.
-
I agree, while I play on the 360, I think I would be fine with next gen consoles having more vault space immediately if it can be done. No reason to hold next gen back on that just for the sake of the last gen crowd.
-
Sadly it really is true, look at what they had to do just to add a few vault spaces on last gen. they had to remove a feature!. Also they have to develop everything they do on 4 consoles, 2 of which are less powerful
-
There might be a few limitations but let's be serious. Skyrim is the biggest game I've ever played and it's on 360. Huge ass open world, thousands of items, you can fill multiple chests with a number of items that greatly outnumber the space in the vaults in Destiny, etc.
-
That chest thing is kind of true, I've got one so full that it takes about a minute to load the contents and around five seconds to take or place an item.
-
Single player game.

That's a silly cop out. There are plenty of ways that they could make this game better without having to leave the last gen consoles behind. The fact that people believe otherwise is simply hilarious. We had DCU and Skyrim on PS3. Destiny's engine is the main problem, and that's on Bungie.
-
Meh, the only limitation is rendering quality. That's it. Vanilla DCUO is so much larger than all the Destiny content we have now, but it runs fine on PS3. It's just that it's not quite as pretty.

I agree that on several of the main issues with the game the hardware is a limiting factor, but issues like weapon balance have been present since the beta. Many exotics are a hindrance to use.
