Ok just to get this out there. We WANTED to buy it. But we wanted to buy it just in the sense that we get what we are paying for, 20$ is over priced. If none of you can understand that why bother commenting.
Edit: there I fixed it now stop comparing it to cars and shit you idiots like damn you willingly defend them -blam!- your wallet it's disgusting.
Edit 2: calling me a child for wanting a fair deal is not an insult.
Edit 3: please for personal sanity stop posting you don't have to buy it... ik ok my point is people are going to either way so why not do something productive and try to lower the price.

2 OdpowiedziAmerica = $40 Britain =£40/$60 And Americans moan about the price lol
This doesn't just apply to Britain but other countries as well
4 OdpowiedziThis game is awesome... I spend 20 bucks on a shitty Pizza Hut pizza and shit my brains out 5 minutes later. Horribly riddled with regret and distain. How many hours do we play this??? Hundreds and hundreds if not thousands??? Pick and choose you're battles. Destiny is well, well worth 100 bucks for a DLC, let alone 40.... Come on bro!!!
-
I went out for drinks with my friends (that I play Destiny with oddly enough) last night and my bill was $80. I think $60 for many more hours (that I actually remember) of fun is worth much more than $60, or $40, or $20. The people that make this game get paid, the servers cost money to run, $20-$60 every 6 months is NOT A LOT OF MONEY. Would you be happier if it was a $10 a month access charge and you got the DLC for free?

1 OdpowiedźPlease post: Name and mailing address. I will mail you a $40 cheque. But only if you promise to act like a big boy.

Lmao awwww you're a cute little teenager, not understanding market principles
-
4 OdpowiedziSeriously though. If you don't buy it, and enough others also don't buy it, maybe the free market will support your position. Personally, money is not a problem for me, so I'm buying it. I think it's a fair price and I don't mind supporting a company I like.

You don't have to buy it

A product is worth what people will pay for it. They know at that price almost all will buy it. Any business would make the same decision. I guess the time they spent developing it is worth something. A movie ticket these days is £8 for 90 minutes entertainment, welcome to 2015

You don't have to buy it

1 OdpowiedźI´m going to tell you exactly what you don´t want to hear but explain why it is like that. You don´t have to buy it. But most importantly....DON´T ACTUALLY BUY IT. You can complain on the forums but Activision will not give a damn. If they get good sales they will keep doing it even if the whole forums are crying. Not buying it means you will actually show that you don´t accept the price instead of just talking about it. Resulting in Activision getting less sales. And you can guess the right side of the equation.

You don't have to buy it.

you can always just...
not buy it
1 OdpowiedźI want to buy a mclaren, but I dont feel I would be getting what I paid for. not when I can buy some used PoS for 6,000 to drive to and home from work. I wanted to buy a new gamign computer. but I dont feel I would be getting what I paid for, I have not touched my home computer in a year or so. the PS4 takes up all my gaming time. I wanted to get a new iphone 6+, but I dont feel I would be getting what I paid for. the one I wanted runs roughly at a grand, I already have a nexas tablet and I dont make many phonecalls as it it. but you know what? even though I want all those things, it turns out that really, you dont have to buy it.

Buy it you don't have to
-
you don't have to buy it. At least they gave us a chance to instead of spending 80$

1 OdpowiedźYou don't have to buy it! ;P
now that you said stop, it really just screams: please, random ppl that wouldn't normally respond, do the thing I said not to!
You don't have to buy it.

You don't have to buy it if you think it isn't a good deal.

2 OdpowiedziPlease learn how supply and demand works. The fact of the matter is that there is enough demand to justify a $20 price tag. Too rich for your blood? Then guess what? DON'T BUY IT!
-
3 OdpowiedziNot saying it's over or under prices, but plenty of other games sell DLC FOR the same 20 bucks. And all you get is a few multiplay maps and maybe a gun or 2. If you ask me, more story, missions, etc . .20 bucks ain't bad. Plus I have a full time job. So 20 bucks isn't going to break my bank when put towards something I enjoy
-
4 OdpowiedziPeople are stupid. I 100% understand what you are saying. We wanted a chance to buy the extra items, but the current price point is absurd. We wanted a reasonable price for them. The problem is... there are a lot of morons out there that will literally throw money at their screen for anything. I can afford it. I don't see the value in it, so I'm not going to buy it, but that doesn't mean I can't disagree with what they decided and voice my opinion. People that bend over and let Activision have their way is the reason why they can charge $20 for nothing.

Good thing there's no Starbucks at the tower...
or something.
11 OdpowiedziSeems like most people don't understand how Activision does their buisness....why do you think they are having bungie do this? Go play COD for a year and you'll realize why Bungie DLC is priced more.
