Pay us $20.... The price of an expansion... For a few emotes, some shaders, and a couple class items?????
This is a complete JOKE
You might as well pay the additional $20 and actually get the tangible physical things.
If this is Bungie's way of making it up to us, I feel as if they just spit in our face and told us to throw more money at our TVs...
Edit: All praise Hypnotoad.
Edit: It's kinda like if your girlfriend cheated on you.
Now she says she is sorry and offers you a handy for $20.
Edit: Business Insider sums up how Bungie is screwing it's fans with this:

Offers a handy for 20 $ oh boi . Priceless
-
3 OdpowiedziCry fest.....I'm loving it.....•throws money at screen•
-
Now you can buy them without purchasing their game again. If you want the exclusives, then buy them instead of buying our game again
-
Hey, thats what the forums wanted. *shrugs*
-
While you are at it, you can blame the Eurogamer dude. He said I would like to buy them separately. I'd pay a few pounds/dollars.
-
1 OdpowiedźDoes your girlfriend do handies for 20 bucks?
-
Then don't -blam!-ing buy it. I don't see Luke Smith holding you at gunpoint. They are vanity items and are only for people who truly care for them, they won't make your gaming experience better or worse so stop acting like the game will turn on its head if you don't have it.
-
5 OdpowiedziThis is how mmos work, 25 bucks for a horse in wow, so on. They are OPTIONAL ITEMS SO BUYING IS OPTIONAL
-
When a company knows you are going to buy it anyways, this is how they "apologize: "Here, pay us two times instead of once". LOL
-
They went down 20 (whatever currency you use) and you still whine? Eveeybody always whine "not enough" they did SOMETHING, give em some kudos for that
-
Who cares though about class items an emotes does it really make that more unique??
-
It's $69 on the Australia psn store. I bet my left nut. No let's make it both my nuts fallout 4 is cheaper when it's released. Come to think of it the game of the year edition that contains base game and 3 expansions will be less than that.
-
At least it's optional now. Take it or leave it. Everyone wanted to have the option to purchase the items separately from the Collector's Edition, and now we have it. Buy it or don't. Besides, this isn't the first game, nor the last, that has add-on items at a ridiculous price.
-
53 OdpowiedziWoah... you people are just toxic and/or stupid.... Taken King 40 bucks Taken King with Destiny and DLC 60 bucks Taken King with Destiny and DLC and some nifty stuff 80 bucks The community wanted the extra stuff without the base game, so Bungie says "sorry" and now we can buy: Taken King without Destiny and DLC, BUT with extra stuff 60 bucks They gave us EXACTLY what we wanted and now it's not ok? o_O
-
2 OdpowiedziYeah because you are being forced to buy the extra $20 worth of stuff or is it because you want it but dont wanna pay?
-
1 OdpowiedźAs I said with the price of TTK The price of the dlc should reflect the content. Destiny=60 4 planets ton of missions 6 strikes and a raid. That's the the core game so I get the massive amount of content. TDB and HOW= 20 each. 2 strikes each plus missions armor and weapons. One had a raid the other POE and TOO. TTK=60 missions weapons armor and a raid. Plus new subclasses (which should be complementary to all players). Emotes and random extras= 20 And here is where I say... Dear destiny.... Why the hell do you think we should pay that much for this expansion. Your game is getting pretty stale. We are bored with what we got already and if we can get a new release game for the same price??? Ooo a new planet not $40 worth of sexy. And 20 for emotes and class items???? Thats a slap in the face. Just so we are clear. Unless you really make it up to us in done with this game when TTK comes out. I won't buy it unless its insanely packed with content. And even then... I'm expected an actual apology over that last interview not that put a band aid on it and act like you didn't seriously insult your fan base.
-
No you got it wrong. Bungie is giving us veteran players the opportunity, nay the priviledge, to pay them an additional 20 dollars to acquire the 9 precious, mostly cosmetic DLC items contained within the collectors edition of the taken king. Praise be to RNGesus and long live our glorious overlord Activision!
-
At this point in the game everyone knows if they plan to support the game any further. If so, then just buy what you want and get ready to play come September. If not, then just move on. There is a pretty decent line up of games coming out soon that will may be worth looking into.
-
You don't need those items
-
You see I have it bad, I didn't know that there was an expansion pass for TDB and QW so I paid for them separately. Now I have to pay ANOTHER $20 :( this game is fun and all but fml lol I need to be more careful haha
-
Wow. There was nothing addressed about in the part two update, and adding $20 on top of the $40 to give the veterans the stuff that should have been in the pack in the first place. Bungie is so stupid in this matter and I knew nothing was going to get done.
-
It IS a joke. A joke that some people will actually pay to get too. At least games from good companies like Bethesda are launching the rest of the year.
-
4 OdpowiedziPart 2 of the update never addressed anything....
-
7 OdpowiedziIts funny that you mention the items sold for $20 like they aint s h i t yet you seem mad about not having them. ANYONE who will have them will have paid for them. Its not like people who didnt pay for them will get them. Its the same with the included dlc's. It's not as if people wont still be paying for them.
-
It's less than an $80 collectors edition dumbass. Now players who already have the expansions can get Taken King and the shit that was supposed to go in a Collector's Edition for less money than before, without rebutting shit they already had. If those items are worth it to you -blam!-ing buy it If not then don't That's literally it what's the -blam!-ing controversy?
