If you really want a gjallarhorn
You would have one already IMO
Specially if you're a day one player.
Off the top of my head ways to get gjallarhorn:
Nightfall
POE chest
Gorgon chest
Atheon
Deathsinger
Crota
Trials packages
Crucible(I've only ever seen 3 drop)
And if you have three characters I strongly feel you would have one. Just a matter of grinding.
Everyone talks about playing hundreds of hours and not having one, but if you aren't grinding for one you probably won't get it

Ehhh still though rng can be horrid for some. I got my gjallarhorn a while ago but my best friend is a beta player and played day one at midnight but it eluded him still. Im happy xur's is selling it because it's nice for people like him

I got it from Crota! 1st Got it from Crucible 2nd Got it from Nightfall 3rd 4rd and 5th just one still exist. The one I got from Crota. All others turned to shards!

Not necessarily true. My son grinds 10x harder then me. Trials, raids, Poe, and nightfalls every week and he's yet to get one while I've gotten 2 from back to back gorgons chests months ago.

Nope. The other week I got my first one, since moving to PS4, in a Nightfall. Only used one character. On 360 I got 2 on my one character, both from Nightfalls. Never really bothered to grind for them. I just play the game at my own pace and not think about it.

You're such a asshole. A friend of mine Played since beginning every day, done every week rhe Raids, Nightfall, and now often Arena and don't get once.

I did this every week on all three characters and had every exotic armor and weapon (expect necro) plus many shared duplicates and never got a ghorn. When HoW came out during the first week I got 3 hard lights from PoE 2 hard lights from Nightfall and rest was garbage so I don't remember. I happen to finally get a ghorn from a Crota raid during the 2nd to last stage on the 2nd week of HoW. I can confidently say that many people have had it worse than I did. P.S. I didn't really care that I didn't have one and my life (aka gameplay) hasn't change much now that I have one.
