This isn't a complaint, just a personal observation. I don't know about everyone else, but for me (on x360), I've been facing more challenging people each week. Still not a problem, my team and I still go flawless, but on the first week, literally half of our games were against underlevered characters that we could one-shot without final round using a high impact sniper. The second week was still very easy, just minus the lv30's. But the past 2 weeks, almost every game was against other flawless groups. They cost us our mercy boons every once in a while, but we've went from 5-0ing almost every game to 5-4's or very close games now.
Did they change anything in the matchmaking process? Maybe all of the "noobs" just gave up on doing trials? Once again, this is a question, not a complaint, just wanted to see if everyone else was getting matched against more adept opponents as the weeks go by.
EDIT: Looks like lots of people are noticing similar things. It would make sense that most people either got better through experience or just gave up and stopped playing trials.

The people have been getting better each week I agree. Also the map has sucked more and more each week so that may also have something to do with it

2 OdpowiedziThe rich get richer and the poor get poorer. I fell sorry for mediocre players going into ToO these days.
-
I'm only a mediocre player but my team did relatively well this weekend. Got up to 7 wins and as an ok PvPer, I am totally fine with that. I play on 360 as well. Maybe we just got lucky this weekend or something.

4 OdpowiedziAll the scrubs and casuals have gotten tired of being beat down week after week and have realized that this isn't their thing.
-
I actually feel its easier tbh.
-
Last week's map was way harder!! you know i think it took me 5 or 6 tries till i got a flawless run but this week my first run in trials went to become flawless run heck i started trials this week without any buffs till the 6th-0 win then im like yep this is getting serious i need to buy the buffs! :P Got yet another Jewel of Osiris Solar burn :/ all i want is a messenger with a burn!

More weeks go by more sweaties come in.

-
I think it's just you. It was pretty easy for me.
-
They will be gaining experience every week
-
I think under levelled people just gave up, I still get some stupidly easy games
-
4 OdpowiedziPeople keep getting killed by the people who literally just go on that game mode to ruin people's streaks....they don't even need any more wins they just do it to give others a loss
-
Probably because of how a lot of people are very experienced with trials by now not as much noobs playing trials now.
-
If they put it on first light I would win so easily. 1.78 collection KD from combined arms this week.
-
It only gets harder if you are a complete retard and don't know how to play properly
-
As the weeks progressed people began to raise in level. Very few people are below level 31 in trials.
-
I feel like the levels are getting worse every week. Bungie, seriously, you are picking all of the worst maps. Bring Shores, or Twilight Gap even. And honestly, I think Bastion would be awesome, yeah, it's big, but there are areas to have closer quarters fights. But we all know this won't happen. Sadly, this and First Light were shunned, to fade away in the background.

Edytowany przez użytkownika The-Iron-Duke: 6/21/2015 7:24:58 AMOf course, because something that was suggested a while back (skilled matchmaking) is happening because shit bucket no lifers are owning everyone and even going back in to make it harder for people. All that's left are the shit bucket no lifers. So it's boring for the average gamer. So the game needs skill level matchmaking.
-
The maps are just getting more close range...
-
People that aren't that great at pvp gave up at it pretty much.
-
I think it's getting harder. The bottom of the barrel players have realised they won't make it and don't bother. The map choice the last 2 weeks has sucked and promotes Thorn use and grenade spamming too much
-
I feel that as you move up on the card, they increase the similarity/difficulty of the match ups.
-
Because the Non-Tryhards are quitting after getting crushed by tryhards.
-
wouldnt be such a cluster**** if i didnt see thorn everywhere right now, im being quite serious
-
quite the contrary, I find it's getting easier, and also when you think about it, some people probably have almost everything that it has to offer so all those really good players will probably not participate soon, leaving just people who haven't been there yet.

1 OdpowiedźPeople have had time to level up, get better gear, and get practice in a 3v3 format that they might not have had before. Combine this with the fact that many of the "casual" players are giving up because they don't like challenging things and would like everything to be handed to them, and you will begin to face tougher teams each week.
