While watching one of the 100 videos released this week from E3, I noticed something odd when the weapon selection screen would pop up. No reforging icon.
Do you think the specific weapons(which looked like regular vanguard guns) aren't capable, it hasn't been incorporated into the final game, or do you think Bungie tried reforging and decided it wasn't worth putting in the TTK?

They can try their best to obsolete my Fatebringer - I will never give up using it even if it turns into a novelty.

14 OdpowiedziThere are a few rumours flying around. One of the biggest ones is that armour and Weapons from year one will be pretty much usless and Non upgradable in TTK. Makes playing the game at the moment pretty pointless. :/

1 OdpowiedźWhich is why I'm not pre ordering. I'm waiting until it's released and watching hours of game footage before I even consider the thought of buying it. I'm not getting fooled again.

3 Odpowiedzii think the rumor is true, and mainly their trying to get us to use new weapons, like me alot of people are still using the OG! vog weapons like fatebringger and vision, can they blame us? there just so good lol, will they become useless? i doubt it as they are just amazing guns that will be very hard to beat.

I hope there is no more reforge option. Ruins the weapons, they are all just shells, no character at all

3 OdpowiedziI'm guessing that old weapons will be stuck at 365 while new weapon will go up to 500+ They specifically said that ascending your gear/weapons will take it up to the maximum for Year 1. If they didn't do this, everyone would still be using Fatebringer etc. instead of the new weapons (much like what's happening now) The problem is that Bungie made that first set of weapons too powerful and now they have to fix it by making less powerful guns, with worse perks but higher attack/damage so that you still don't use your old guns. Be prepared, guns are gonna suck.

I think since this is starting year two, the whole system is being changed and part of that means all old legendaries are not going to be relevant. If that's the case then all weapons can be reformable but because EVERY weapon could be reforged they won't need to have the weapon listed as "reforge ready." Now some of the raid weapons that aren't reforge able might have a non reforge able perk.
