So Apparently Us Loyal players have to buy content we already own to get exclusive items
If you didn't already know, the collectors edition of the taken king expansion includes 3 exotic class items which give an XP BONUS 3 new emotes and other benefits.
On top of that it includes multiple physical trinkets to add to your collection.
This sounds great at first, but one part does not. This edition also includes the BASE GAME, AND ALL 3 dlcs. This means that if a veteran player wants the full experience they must waste over $40 on content they ALREADY OWN!! I would happily give Bungie my money for just the trinkets and in-game benefits, but buying content I already own is taking it too far.
In order to fix this, Bungie MUST release a version of this that doesn't include the things we already purchased. If YOU want this to happen, bump this post to the top of the forums and let them know what we, the players, think of their money grabbing scheme.
Additionally, I just realized that the edition with the physical stuff is NEXT GEN ONLY!! Why would they do this? Why not give the ps3 and 360 players the trinkets as well? There is no reason not to, other than to make money. Last gen players' only option is to buy ONLY the digital content for the SAME PRICE!! Lame.

I bought the digital guardian edition and I'm planing on getting the taken king dlc. So what if it's a lil pricey, it's really not that much.

Thats some big shit , i cant believe it , they should give all that to the people that play At least since september 18 ( i play since day one but other people maybe couldn't buy the game day one but they played since week one , so they deserve those things as much as the day one players)

Yeah, its stupid. I bought it, but I'm either going to sell the game and the DLC I already own, or just give it to a friend who really wants it. :)

Player 1 buys the limited edition but already has the game and first 2 expansions. Player 1 gives the extra game and first 2 expansions to player 2. Player 2 buys the TTK expansion. Bungie makes more money.

Tbh I would save up money for the X1. It is totally worth is whenever they release the backwards compatibility. All digital content crosses over to X1. So if you wondering if you can still play dlcs or digitally downloaded games you do not have to rebuy everything over again. About the content, I do feel a little bit let down. But that is just life, and greed.
