Why so expensive dlc should never cost more than 20$ in my opinion then make the extra stuff 40$ not 80$

I love how you guys pick apart the expansion and call it worthless. 12 part campaign.......with 5 strikes , a raid, new destinations, new arsenal, new gear, new subclasses.......not to mention it still ties in with year one, so the content is cross compatable. There are plenty of titles that have been released with no dlc content what so ever that don't equal TTK's content. And it is just an expansion. As far as the pre release story we all saw at e3, Destiny is a ten year title. You wouldn't show your hand right out of the gate, would you? If they gave you the complete story in the first release you would all be complaining about extra content because the game is getting stale with no new updates. But no, you guys are right. The 1000+ hours people are logging so far is horrible value for money. Why would we spend another $40 to double that? A pizza dinner is a much better idea.

Good post. Sure people will hate it, and people will defend it but bungie has a tainted track record with year one. Do not forget the past yet always look towards the future. Maybe bungie can still salvage thier horrible release.

I don't really care about the extra goodies that can sway players into an early purchase. However, remember that they pulled content from the last dlc without discloure prior to purchase, i.e. the raid. That is misleading the public, and I don't care about the BS disclaimer about content. How are we to trust that we will receive what we've seen or been so far described anymore? Sorry but you don't get to fool me twice.

I agree with new players getting items to help them catch up, or even the great deal they can jump on to increase the population of this game. But paying $140 for a game that was purposefully downgraded to be sold in fragments for profit is complete bullshit. What's sad is most ppl will be leaving this game due to this situation. I don't intend to leave, but I will not give any more money for things that was promised the game was initially going to be. actually it still wont even be close to what it was said it was going to be. Maybe you shouldn't complain until you know all the facts. I think that new players should get exotics right of the bat to help them catch up. Existing player's will still be able to collect these through playing the game. You tell people to not buy the new dlc but we all know that you will.
