Thorn is overpowered
Nip over to planet destiny for an objective and reasoned argument to show why Thorn is OP.
The guy writing the article is a better player than you (probably) and knows much more scout destiny than you.
Oh and Bungie listen to him. If he says its overpowered, he probably has a point.
Btw...if you use thorn and think it's not overpowered...challenge yourself to do as well with a different gun!

2 Odpowiedzi95% of my trials games were against 3 thorn users. I also used the thorn for some of those matches to fight fire with fire. Wasn't everybody using the Suros the reason the whole autorifle line got rebalanced? Will they rebalance hand cannons? Hmmm...

2 OdpowiedziAs a matter of fact, I did challenge myself this Iron to go without Thorn and did do better. Much better. I may never use it again. Its more fun to shred someone with Thunderlord.

And if good ol' Thorn don't kill, Damage Over Time sure will. Fusions and shotguns don't you fret, post mortem kills is what we'll get. And if you're still alive, beware. There's plenty more Thorns in the Garden there.

1 OdpowiedźMost of the hand cannon's are OP in this game. The Last Word as well as the Thorn has always been OP. I'm not complaining though, as the only way to beat them is to join them. Get yourself a Thorn and join the party :)

15 OdpowiedziIm a consistent Thorn user in PvP and my K/D ratio is average 0,97.. My K/D is also average 0,97 with Bad Juju, TLW, Vex Mythoclast.. and pretty much every other weapon I try. So How can this be? I will explain it to you. Yes, Thorn kills with 3 body shots. But with Thorns rate of fire, the time that you will land 3 body shots is the same as you would empty your mag with TLW or VEX.. or Fire 3 bursts with Bad Juju.. Use the Thorn and you will see that your K/D will not climb up with it. Therefore.. Thorn Is [b]not[/b] overpowered.

Looks like there is absolutely no appetite for this gun to be nerfed. If that's the case I'll just use it and not worry about balance

3 OdpowiedziAT First I am a thorn user. I got my some das ago, around 1 week now. To say this weapon is overtuned (overpowered Has to be an individual), you Have to compare IT to other weapons. Infact the thorn is stronger than many but Not the strongest. What is true, Have to be the fact that IT is Used by a Lot. But hey, so is gjallahorn. So this thread Not leggit any more. If a pro Player is calling IT op, so be it. Neitherless, Do Not believe everything.
