To you "GIT Gud scrubbers" out there the damage on thorn isn't the problem, it's the usage. Its just annoying just dying to the same gun not because your bad at PvP but because of its over use. Seriously if other guns were used beside the trinity of exotic primary's no one would complain about it but because it's the only gun you can see it makes for a bland pvp.

Be interesting if thorn didn't have every shot do poison how about 4 out of 9 bullets did poison? Kinda like a luck in the chamber. Also poison should stop if you killed the thorn user I have no trouble facing somebody with it but am later finished off before I can recover cuz the burn damage. Another suggestion would be it will lose its burn damage if it's shot from a far range like maybe it should only take effect when your close enough?

Don't worry. Thorn is getting more impact, stackable DoT, and a range buff next update. Nine out of ten people use it. If we try hard, we can make it ten out of ten. Then we can delete everything else and have plenty of vault space. [spoiler]the next raid boss will be a giant Thorn[/spoiler]

STOP! Seriously, bungie doesn't need to fix thorn. Why? Because so many pussies are using it that if Bungie touched their precious thorn, they would throw a fit and whine, then they wouldn't touch pvp because they can't use any other gun.

I somewhat agree with you. At first I wasn't a very good PVP player always got my butt kicked. What I've found is there are weapons in destiny that are more used than others but with a strategy in PVP any weapon even Thorn can be beaten. I use Vision of Confluence and will put it against any hand cannon in PVP. I found a strategy that works well for me. I've gone from 2-4 kills to 15-25. I find that using a weapon I'm proficient at works best than going in guns blazing.

I use hawkmoon and in my opinion it smashes the thorn.oops better keep my mouth shut.hehe
