The 2 handcannons make crucible so unbalanced and it makes no sense
Thorn and the last word seriously make crucible so unbalanced. Bungie i dont like having to use specific weapons to win matches ie. Thorn, the last word or pulse rifles in general.
Edit #1 Yeah u can use scout rifles or auto rifles but are u really gonna out shoot someone using tlw or thorn or three little words, messenger, red death etc. Sure ive gotten kills with auto rifles only after throwing a grenade to weaken them or getting lucky. Hell until H.O.W came out with auto rifles with better impact it literally was a struggle to get kills. But using handcannons makes it freaking easy to get kills but thats not broken really

Tlw: fan fire only works when firing from the hip, kinda of like a cowboy. Technically how its supposed to be used cause cowboys hip fan fire, they dont aim in and fan fire

11 OdpowiedziThey are exotics. They are supposed to feel and be overpowered. Bungie even said that. Learn how to counter them and stop asking for nerfs.

The reason people hate the gun so much is that über players use it and rapidly land the two headshots every time. From the receiving end, it looks like your health drops to terminal levels all at once. What should happen? Limit thorn's fire rate. It doesn't make sense for a weapon with hand cannon recoil to fire accurately so fast. Plus, dot effect work best with slow fire weapons. You tag a target, and it takes more damage while you slow gun cycles. I Thorned all through to lvl 5 iron banner. I lost scores of one-on-one engagements, purely because I tend to get mostly body shots. It's not very good unless you get those headshots everyone. Also, I saw a lot of players use red death to counter the dot.

Nah the last word is accuracy. And it's only really good at close range, it can still kill from a bit of distance but the damage from close to far is a pretty big drop off.

It's true. I had to upgrade thorn even though I don't enjoy using hand cannons just so I could kick ass on crucible again. I want to hear bungie acknowledge the over use of handcannons. Did you see the trials of osiris reveal? They ALL used thorn. Why?? Because pvp is balanced? No.

its sad that I HAVE TO use thorn just to be on par with everyone else I dislike hand cannons with a passion but if I do not use it like everyone else I am at a disadvantage

Last Word is just broken with its range being a complete lie (seriously, it outguns weapons with higher range!) and the last word perk procs while in ADS. Pulse rifles are fine as they are, and although the messenger is a bit strong, it can be outgunned easily. The exotic hand cannons are the main cause of unbalance in the Crucible at the moment. I laugh at people now who thought SUROS was overpowered because they had no idea what was coming after the autorifle nerf.

And if that good ol' Thorn don't kill, Damage Over Time will make sure it will. Fusions and shotguns don't you fret, post mortem kills is what we'll get. And if you're still alive, be-ware. 6 Odpowiedzii think too the thorn needs a nerf! its too OP, i think 60/70 procent of the players in the ToO and crusible is playing with thorn! it has the range of a sniper not in stats but in the game it has! the damage over time gives people to make a couple of bodyshots and then sit around the corner waiting for the opponent to die!

Thorn and The Last Word aren't the only Hand Cannons. Title these correctly, or Hawkmoon's going to be as unusable as Doctor Nope.
