If you're not 34 yet... WTH?
1 ascended exotic and the 3 pieces of gear that Variks sold. That's all that's needed. Just run 32 once each week. So how can someone not be 34 yet? What's your excuse?
Edit: don't say "I have a life" of course, you do. But how hard is it to run 32 ONCE in a week?

Edit 3: Sorry if I sounded like a jerk. This post was directed toward those whining about not finding etheric light and thus being unable to play lvl 33 and above.
Edit 4: A lot of you are saying you don't want to rush it and feel like there's nothing to do after. My take on it is that I need to be 34 to gather the elemental primaries from Skolas, and it might take some time thanks to RNG. Plus, I can start using etheric light on other armor and weapons to create the build I want.

hahaha i get it so i didnt take offense. im really playing slow plus unfoetunately i do have a "life." but that's not the main reason for me. PoE 32 was fun and got my first piece but i needed about good 2-3 hrs to play etc that day and was possible so i was able to do it. took me two grouos to get it done (first one failed and were talking about non game related stuff over headphone (seemed like froup of friends). which was fine but they kept dying and laughing about it. after about an hour and half i left and found a goos group and got it. took me total of 3 hrs when I could have gotten 2 done in that time. I ran out of gaming time so had to leave. it's more things like this really... You are absolutely right tho its very easy to get to max lvl now :) another reason i dont is a dumb one: PoE gear is super ugly to me hahaha but since i only need helm...meh why not max level? i could get more armor cores that way too to make myself look awesome. Im def on the busier side these days and hoping i find a smooth group for one i have time to play :) compared to the boots struggle back in VoG this aint nothing. ironically i have less time than last fall....i Went HAM on destiny then....

Note that some don't have HoW so they have to rely on nightfall drops

I haven't bothered playing this week - can't be bothered anymore. I don't want to play the same thing over and over with 3 different characters just to get the same gear. I wanted to look different but the Etheric light is too difficult to get. Plus I've been busy or playing Witcher 3. Besides, there's months before anything new comes out so I don't NEED to be 34 yet.

Got the etheric light to get to 34 but I want to use a matching set of armour with boots that have a heavy ammo perk (So Crota, HoJ, VoG etc) currently got the HoJ chest and arms just need the boots. Like I said. I could be 34 but am choosing to not be.

I play other games besides Destiny. I'm literally missing nothing from not playing often. There won't be a major content dump coming for months, so what's the rush? I do plan on reaching a 34 this weekend with IB. But if I decide to play Minecraft or binge netflix, oh well there will be a PoE 32 next wk, and a NF, etc. Patience is a virtue, I'm proud to own.

Most people won't take anyone below level 34 nowadays, so why not upgrade? More will be available to you. And you can always gather new armor, new setups, or even new characters

I've been moving for the past 2 weeks, plus I thought I was going to lose my job because of a contract issue, plus I've been trying to build a new work-out routine/habit. By the time I've been done, it's been 9pm and I'll have been going since 630am. The last thing I want to do is put in the effort to put together a team to do all of this. If I'm going to game for fun, I'd much rather do something I can solo, like the Witcher or Batman when it comes out. Been playing a lot of Borderlands, too.
