If you're not 34 yet... WTH?
1 ascended exotic and the 3 pieces of gear that Variks sold. That's all that's needed. Just run 32 once each week. So how can someone not be 34 yet? What's your excuse?
Edit: don't say "I have a life" of course, you do. But how hard is it to run 32 ONCE in a week?

Edit 3: Sorry if I sounded like a jerk. This post was directed toward those whining about not finding etheric light and thus being unable to play lvl 33 and above.
Edit 4: A lot of you are saying you don't want to rush it and feel like there's nothing to do after. My take on it is that I need to be 34 to gather the elemental primaries from Skolas, and it might take some time thanks to RNG. Plus, I can start using etheric light on other armor and weapons to create the build I want.

Level doesnt bother me, i focus more on the fun part of the game & as long as my level is high enough to play the game modes i enjoy then tbh i dont need it.

Before HoW I used to do Atheon 3x, Crota x3, nightfall x3, heroic x3, daily publics x3 and Max out my marks on at least 1 character Now I do maybe 2 nightfalls, 2 heroics, no Crota or Atheon unless someone messages me asking for help, which is now rare, and barely any PoE 28 is like a strike so I'd do that if it wasn't for IB this week. Finding people to do PoE though is kind of annoying more so than a raid because the lack of checkpoints. I don't want checkpoints in Poe because it'd be abused like Raids, but without them I don't feel like spending an hour+ on a level 32/34/35 strike with some randoms who do fine till you get to the boss. Then they suck and can't get the boss to even half health and now you're screwed. Rewards only drop after beating boss so you either try for hours to beat it or just quit and try with new people. (Or be an ass if you're leader and boot the other 2) That means that if I want to try a 35 PoE with randoms I'm going to need to free up a good 5 hours just in case in one sitting to beat it. That's a hell of an investment and in the morning a few hours before work I'm not gonna risk it and at midnight I risk staying up to 5am I have one 34 and could get my other characters to 34 if I use this Ib light but I rather just use the light on some weapons and wait for toO or the next IB to raise the others

Trying to get boots with more heavy ammo from CE for my hunter and they haven't dropped for me. Have the etheric light and everything ready but I'm not going to ascend armor I don't want just to get to 34

I have my 2 chars at 34 just from doing 32 poe(hellllllo 543 Strength, fml). Finally did my first 34 poe yesterday as well. Did it with a mexican dude and a middle eastern guy. Both spoke like 3 words so there was NO communication lmao. It was not ideal. I was only max "gally" in the group but we actually beat it. Took like 2 hours but we did it

I like how people say "I'm busy with work" I have friends that work great hrs but manage to still play. Sounds like an excuse to me

I'm not whining about the lack of materials, I have plenty of each. Just biding my time until I can buy what suits my play style. Example: Could I put etheric light on my crota boots? Sure, but why waste it when Variks will sell his that also allow for extra heavy and will come fully ascended. But I wont buy the boots next week because again, they will be strength. I don't need/want strength on my locks/titan. I'll wait another month until he has what suits me. All 3 of mine are 33, and will stay that way until variks sells armor with intellect/discipline. I have no problem beating 34 with my 3 33's, I have several etheric light/weapon cores, and a ton of armor cores waiting to be used. I wont use etheric light on current armor when i can get it all fully ascended from variks at some point. And even with all Judgement gear, I'll still put on older armor when not playing prison. Running around as a 34 on planets is pointless, other than showing other guardians you're part of the cool crowd. You need that 34 for lvl 6 dregs? Or even the prowling wolves? If you can't solo the wolves, you shouldn't be stepping into the prison. Hell I put on raid gear and whatever else that has perks I like, and I'm a 32 most of the time. Only when I play 34 Prison, do I make it so I'm 33. I bought the Judgement warlock chests and titan gauntlets, and already 2 much strength. I have no interest in 35 PoE, maybe that'll change when Variks starts selling strengthless gear on June 16th. I'm content with everything else there is to do in the game for now, that and Witcher 3 :) *A LOT of the 34's I play with are just a poor performing guardian with a high light level. They got etheric light from nightfalls and ran some 32's and bought/ascended what they could as fast as possible. Doesn't mean they can hold their own, far from it from what I've seen thus far. The 2 34's I carried this week using my voidwalker against Kaliks was a learning experience. The community is getting worse, and now the population of maxed out guardians who think they are "the best" is getting out of control.

Friends who aren't high enough level to play POE Little patience for the higher POE rounds that could take 1 hour+ Banging ho's (mainly in the witcher 3) Caring more about leveling weapons

I personally waited to ascend gear I actually planned on keeping even though I could very easily get more Etheric Light.

I worked hard to get my gear to have as close to perfect stats for pvp, I don't want to wear unleveled crap with pure strength on it :/ plus when it comes to PoE I really only prefer using my Titan there, which is weird because last dlc I preferred my Warlock. I'm in no rush to do PoE, hell I haven't even played 35 yet, one day though! Yet I do admit been playing more crucible the last two weeks, I almost have all legendary weapons from there except ill will D:

I've been in 32 arena five times(I think) this week. Always had near double the kills of any other teammates and I'm not good enough to solo last round. So try again tomorrow!

RL!! Full time job, summer weather is sacred in Pittsburgh, not all of my family and friends nerd out on Destiny or video games, etc. In agreement with quite a few ppl, why hurry? Comet isn't expected to be released until Sept. Plenty of time to do whatever

Starting 2 weeks late coupled with very little time to play has gotten me to 2 33s and a 33.5. They'll all be 34 next week.

Okay then I'm only level 33 on all three characters because I choose to keep up with my social life, date my girlfriend, work during the week and go Cottaging lol. You are right it's not hard to run 32 Poe once a week but I don't feel like doing it for all three characters and besides why would I want to be 400+ strength, 0 intellect and discipline? Yeah no thanks. Besides raids hard mode is super easy still being a 33...

Until there is a level 34 raid IDGAF. Since damage is weapon based and also caps with enemy levels and not my level why rush?
