Fat Man > Gjallarhorn
Bethesda > Bungie
Fallout 4 > Destiny
Vault Tec > RNG
There have been 101 "Destiny Killer" threads...but if there's one game that will slay this crack whore, it'll be Fallout 4.
Now I must take my leave. I have purified water, bottle caps, and sugar bombs to stockpile before the game drops.

Lmfao kill this crack whore

Ill say it once more. If it's not already dead it will not die. Til maybe the sequel. Destiny 2 will kill destiny. Not any other game.

Edytowany przez użytkownika Krankmas: 6/23/2015 3:51:51 PM*raises hand* excuse me Sir. But no game can kill another game. Unless: its a sequel to said game. People that play a game will keep playing it. People that like Fallout will play Fallout. I think gaming should be better than this to make these petty kill Destiny post. Besides, Bungie is already doing their damn best to kill it themselves. Besides they're not even the same genre of game. And one is single player. One multiplayer.
G8 B8 M8?
Destiny killed destiny

3 OdpowiedziDestiny=dead since the week after launch

Edytowany przez użytkownika Eduardo: 6/23/2015 3:13:04 PMFor the summer, Arkham Knight is killing Destiny. I love Destiny, but it's a casual game, which I appreciate. Come back every week to do nightfalls, then go back playing to content heavy games. I'll do nightfalls later today, then resume Batman for the rest of the week. To say any game Will kill Destiny though is far fetched. People keep coming back and will continue, even those that say they'll leave will be back anyways and continue to cry for not having Gjallarhorn or some stupid dance emote.

Preach brother man. This and the combinatons of eso and battlefront will end destiny for me. It's not so much the game but just how weve been treated by Activision and bungie has been shitty. Now with the ttk price and them saying pretty much saying " -blam!- your time put in, put 80 instead of 40 more dollars in our pocket if you want our cool little emotes ." -blam!- that shit

Edytowany przez użytkownika sasukeyr: 6/23/2015 3:01:34 PMThe only games that will kill destiny for me (probably not entirely) are Battleborn Borderlands 3. Borderlands 3 probably will be at least another year since since they didn't say anything at e3. Battleborn is coming out in a few months.

Sorry bud if anything is gonna slay destiny its a multiplayer game. Yeah fallout has endless hours of gameplay but soon enough everyone just wants to group up and shoot something and that doesnt happen in fallout. Unless you count u and your dog as a group. Then knock yourself out. But they got a new dlc dropping for destiny and theyre really trying to suck peoples pockets dry because they ACTUALLY WILL. Have faith. Destiny is going to keep being played long after youre bored of fallout 4 like the rest of the fallouts

13 OdpowiedziWhy do you -blam!-ing retards keep doing this every -blam!-ing time a new -blam!-ing game comes out? No one -blam!-ing cares what game you are playing. Go play it, no one cares. Just don't -blam!-ing announce it you piece of shit.
-
8 OdpowiedziNo co-op? Fallout has an ending, Destiny does not. Duh.
-
2 OdpowiedziNah...I'll keep playing destiny and giving them my money cuz I love this game...no other game has caught my attention like destiny has
-
I don't think any 1 game will 'kill' destiny but as more and more new games come out destiny player pop. will drop quite a lot.
-
Don't you people ever learn? Only Destiny 2 will kill Destiny.
-
8 OdpowiedziOh, you mean the game with shit graphics that we have no reason to be excited for?
-
Edytowany przez użytkownika WHISKEYJ0HNNY0: 6/23/2015 1:13:25 PMWill not survive? They're not the same genre. I'll play Fallout 4 but I'm still coming back to Destiny for my FPS fix. Gr8 b8 m8

Edytowany przez użytkownika mrxcrom: 6/23/2015 7:57:49 AMThis is how I think it is going to play out. I think after the launch of TTK I believe all or most of the people who bought into the hype and rode the season pass up to this point or feels betrayed by Bungie for their strong marketing toward ps4 newcomers ( you should seriously check out the euro gamer article where they interview Luke Smith makes me laugh) will jump ship. The number of concurrent users will drop, but not enough to kill destiny (there will always be someone playing destiny). After that happens, the only people who would be left are the die hard fans who need to collect everything to feel good about themselves (that was me at one point) ,and the casual fanboys (don't take it as insult just accept it as a part of your being) who will always be there. As the population of destiny dwindles, the hardcore audience will become a rivaling majority to that of the casual audience. The problems in destiny will become ever more glaring, and instead of these problems like a strong driven narrative, matchmaking for group content, or PVE for that matter being fixed; they will attempt to convince the community that "they have been listening" and distract the community by nerfing hand cannons to their original beta build design (6 shots, low impact, no kills :( ) and by applying dialogue to a plot forced on to essentially a shoot and scoot 6 mission campaign. The PVErs will be left in the dust while PvP becomes ever more relevant by shifting elemental primaries built for pvp that are almost a necessity for pve to a tournament like mode. The casuals will be undone by the Doritos cheese ridden controllers of hardcore players with their whatever wins goes tactics due to the population shrink. Everyone will finally realize how garbage they actually are in pvp and will cry for an endless cycle of nerfs. Then, all the filthy casuals will just stick to weekly content while PvP becomes a dark souls-esque meta. Any newcomer who jumps into this game blind will be slaughtered in pvp and be discriminated in pve for not having gjallarhorn.the population will shrink further as it did after destiny's previous expansions. Then, everyone and their mom returns for destiny 2 and bungie either realize their mistake or the cycle continues.

20 OdpowiedziWake me up when Obsidian makes another Fallout.
-
Destiny is failing. No one is bothering with TTK dlc cuz lol bungie
-
No it won't, bungie takes its fans for granted, not realizing how dedicated they are
-
3 OdpowiedziI'm buying fallout 4 and playing that exclusively until the disc melts into my drive.

Edytowany przez użytkownika PrimerTrouble87: 6/22/2015 1:42:26 PMI'll be playing both Fallout 4 and Destiny, But one at a time though.
-
It's not going to kill destiny. However destiny will continue to be a shell of a game throughout its life span due to core game issues that no DLC will fix. Maybe destiny 2 will be good
-
I think you must be irradiated, living in that fantasy wasteland of yours, lol.
