The Lighthouse is bullshit and needs to be changed
No content in this game should be available only to those in the top 10% of crucible players. You wanna give them a shader, emblem, or class item? Fine. But a whole area exclusive to them? With a chest containing some of the best gear in the game? Completely unacceptable. They don't deserve it. They don't need it.
All this "lighthouse" area does is promote elitism and ultimately makes this game far less appealing.
And before you say "git gud scrub" you should know that not everyone is capable of getting better. Everyone has limits, and most peoples' limits are much lower than those who are good enough to get into the Lighthouse. It's existence is a slap in the face to 90% of the playerbase.
[b]Every Guardian in Destiny has the right to access the Lighthouse and obtain the gear from it's chest.[/b] But that's not possible, and until the requirements for accessing it are changed, it never will be.
[b]Edit:[/b] Just for clarity, I'm not saying this should be given out freely. That's an assumption you've made on your own. I do think it should be earned, but the requirements for earning it should be such that it can be enjoyed by most of the player-base. Not just the best crucible players and those they carry with them.

1 OdpowiedźLighthouse was based around the best of the best in the Crucible. If you don't like Crucible, don't play it. I understand that you think it's unfair that only those who go flawless get 320 gear. You might be one of those people who haven't gone flawless yet in year 2, and probably won't attempt it. If you don't want to do Crucible, play the raid. You can get gear there too.

They'll probably incorporate the lighthouse in future dlc for all to visit. You just won't be able to get the loot. That's my guess...or maybe Bungie will laugh at those of us incapable of going flawless. I mean it's like Valhalla, only the greatest can go.

1 OdpowiedźHard mode raid is bullshit Why should some of the more skilful and tactical PvE players get to do the hard mode raid? They don't deserve it just for ending able to know what they're doing and communicate as well as not die every single run. That is how stupid you sound on a whole higher level.

1 OdpowiedźIt over hyped the area is very small with nothing to do there at all and the chest looks cool but contains junk been there in y1 really have no desire to get there in y2 to get that sweet reskined weapons and armor they do lazy they couldn't every design some new rewards.

If you can't beat the game then you can't get the rewards. Why is that wrong or bad? Every other progression based game is the exact same and always have been. Can't beat the hard raid? Then you dont get the best drops. Ff14, wow, diablo all of them are the same way. There are raids in other MMOS that the BEST, players in the world take months. Actual months to clear the hard content. 0% have acess to thise drops until then becauae no one beat it, n gate. Just because Destiny hard raid is cleared in an hour on the first day doesn't mean your entitled self deserves shit because you want it. Can't beat Giovanni? Then you don't get to fight the elite four, can't get to victory road then you don't catch a ditto. Same thing. Don't beat the elite four? No mewtwo. This isn't just a multi-player thing. Hell in BF4 you have to get kills with weapons to unlocknshit. That is the most basic of progression and that still requires you to beat other people. Why isn't it fair? One reason. Give me one reason why it isn't "fair". If games for five year old son have some kind of progression why can't Destiny PvP?

thats why bungie gave away trials gear through bounties, realising that not everyone will go flawless. YOU GET FREE GEAR FOR NOT BEINF GOOD, SO WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING.

You really don't have to be amazing to get to the lighthouse. As long as you have a good team that can communicate and coordinate, you'll get there. Just have to keep at it until you get over the hump.

Totally separate gear for pve and pvp. Make it so you can't crossover any weapons or armour. Simple.

I agree, I've seen it, and still think it's a terrible idea. ToO poops allover 4 out of 7 days of the week for me anymore. And the god damn PvP nightfall rewards bounties are killing the other 3 days for me. Now on tues-thurs all my clan mates with limited time only do those.

It's aggravating af but I consistently make it 8-0 and idk wtf happens but some flawless team will come in and just dumpppppp on us while we shitted 8 games In a row. And I understand, the extra gear is worth playing for still BUT it'd be a lot nicer if bungie would pair up those people with people who have ALREADY gone flawless that WEEKEND giving people who haven't a little bit better shot. Other than that I truly enjoy trials for the challenge and tbh the drop rate is fantastic for me. Much better than iron banner last month lmfao

Now with elemental primaries out of the mix there is really no reason for those who cant get to the lighthouse to even try. and yes I lack the skill to do the same.
