Valus Trau'ug
How in the hell has anyone beat him? He was the second boss for my group when we tried PoE 32 last night, and it seemed like every time we took his shield down, he regened it to a different damage type. And then all the other cabal seemed to just keep spawning at a ridiculous rate and had so much health... Anyone have advice on how to beat him?
Apparently the Gjallarhorn is a must have for this...

We went to the far left in the behind the barrier (I think it's in the PoE stream Bungie did), It offers a bit of cover. I had a solar shotty to take care of any enemies that tried to rush us. You will get over-run, just all make a mad dash to the far right in behind the big pillar, grab ammo on the way and don't die in the middle (very bad spot to die). Wait for they enemies to follow you over, then mad dash back the the left. Many G-horns help too. Sorry I don't have a video to link.

20 mins. 2 wipes. No mics. Pretty easy, just stay mobile.

Took 30 minutes for my team to kill him cause his shields stayed at void for a long time

3 OdpowiedziAs soon as his sheilds are down unload on his ass, run around and thin the adds, take his sheilds down and unload on his ass. Rinse and repeat

That's how it's designed to work. I am looking forward to actually being able to run it today. I hate using the same weapons over and over this shouls force some variety.

Just gotta communicate and have a weapon of each type equipped,I'd go like vision of confluence,arc sniper and like corrective measure

There's no real strategy just stick close to your teammates and try to have a weapon of each damage type equipped. Once his shield goes down you have a few seconds to damage him before he puts up a new shield so focus rockets on him when it goes down

Well what you don't realise is the minions spawn as soon as you shoot his actual health. Thus meant the strategy is kill everything. Shoot him a bunch, repeat.
