Seriously? Discrimination against people without mics
I'm tired of being excluded from shit just because I don't have a mic. I'm tired of leaving my shit to join someone who will just kick me out and cuss out at me just because o don't have a mic. It's not a mic problem because I've tried three different remotes and two other mics. It's a console problem and I'm not gonna waste all summer just to get my mic problem fixed. So those of you who want to invite me, don't be a dick because my console is a piece of shit.
Edit: CANT ANYONE -blam!-ING READ?? Stop telling me I need to buy a new mic. It's a CONSOLE problem. I've tried a few different mics so stop telling me shit if you don't understand what I'm saying!
Edit: IM NOT TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE NOT WANTING TO PLAY WITH ME! I'm talking about people who have to be real assholes about it. I've had people tell me to die of cancer, for me to get aids, for my future wife to have a miscarriage and die in the process, etc. my point here is the -blam!-s who tell this to people over stupid shot like this. I hope one day they actually tell that to someone with that actual problem and they feel like shot about it forever.

My mic broke and yes I'm about to get a new one but 2 people with no mics and one with a mic we got to the end of the lvl 35 prison of elders didn't complete it because of being lvl 33 and one shot by that op scorch cannon.. but got fairly close about half health.. one of the best teams I've been a part of.. If someone with no mic can hear you and listen things can still go just fine

I must be lucky, the few times I've played with my mic I was sure to message the people I was playing with telling them the mouthpiece on my mic was broken, but I can still hear just fine. Usually they sound aggravated and annoyed, but allow it. But last night I played with a few guys that at first sounded annoyed, but then later on they were communicating with me like I had a working mic. I let my gameplay do the talking for me, sometimes it shows sometimes it doesn't. There's good people out there! Trust me. It just seems like sometimes there's more bad then good.

If I'm running with randoms, mics are required. You may be the best player in the world, but I don't know that, and not having a mic is a handicap.

Regardless of the reason (console, mic, controller), if you are not able to communicate with a raid team member it can lead to a lot of frustration. Sucks that you are having issues, but communication is a huge part of a successful raid (or crucible) team.

Buy a new Console... Stop crying, whining, moaning or anything of the sort. Nobody cares that your are to lazy to solve a console issue.

2 OdpowiedziNo offense man, but no one will want to do anything challenging with you if you don't fix your mic. Not sure is this will help. But I actually had to get a controller update (plug in controller to xbox via usb). After the update all was good. What mic setup are you using?

Wouldn't run hard raids with anyone that didn't have a mic, and won't do high level POE either. It's not "discriminating"... It's the fact that I don't have any interest in something taking longer than it should, and someone in the group not having a mic almost assures that to be the case. Wiping over and over again isn't any fun, and from my experience, that happens much more often in fireteams that can't coordinate with each other.
