Seriously? Discrimination against people without mics
I'm tired of being excluded from shit just because I don't have a mic. I'm tired of leaving my shit to join someone who will just kick me out and cuss out at me just because o don't have a mic. It's not a mic problem because I've tried three different remotes and two other mics. It's a console problem and I'm not gonna waste all summer just to get my mic problem fixed. So those of you who want to invite me, don't be a dick because my console is a piece of shit.
Edit: CANT ANYONE -blam!-ING READ?? Stop telling me I need to buy a new mic. It's a CONSOLE problem. I've tried a few different mics so stop telling me shit if you don't understand what I'm saying!
Edit: IM NOT TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE NOT WANTING TO PLAY WITH ME! I'm talking about people who have to be real assholes about it. I've had people tell me to die of cancer, for me to get aids, for my future wife to have a miscarriage and die in the process, etc. my point here is the -blam!-s who tell this to people over stupid shot like this. I hope one day they actually tell that to someone with that actual problem and they feel like shot about it forever.

I'd never kick you because you didn't have a mic, I'd never invite you in the first place. Now, if you join under false pretense and state that you have a mic (which based on the messages you gave received is what has happened in the past) then you're going to get a boot print on the backside and then find yourself in orbit. Maybe you should get a new mic.

Murzealous, if you are reading this, I know that you don't have a mic, but you are the greatest relic holder I have ever played with. All the people with mics that I have played with will never compare to your art.

I tend to agree for anything outside of VOG, the portals and the random nature of who gets pulled in kind of requires everyone to have a mic so portals can be called. CE only really requires the sword bearer to have a mic to call for rockets. As for the abuse you received. Not cool. Just realize that everyone's a tough guy with a few hundred miles and an IP address between them and whoever they are berating.

In my opinion, if you want to lay a team based activity, then you need to communicate with your team. If you don't have a mic, then you can find other people without Mics

I did the 34 PoE with a team with a guy without a mic. Took less than an hour. So, it's fine. You don't need a mic. :)

At no point is it cool for people to wish diseases on you or your future wife. I do know it is hard to properly play in a team when you can't communicate with them. I've never heard of a console being the issue of a mic not working. But have you tried going through the warranty to get it fixed? Just suggesting free ways to solve your issue. Hope it works out.
