What's the point? Why did they make doing a public event on patrol the only way to get extra loot.
Grats, you beat poe, no you don't get to open the chest because you didn't farm some bullshit item.

6 OdpowiedziI think keys are a great idea. Making them drop randomly every few chest makes sense. But I have been doing this for hours and have not obtained one key. I must have done 15 of these so far. I kind of dont want to keep doing this.
-
14 Odpowiedzii respect your opinion, but i strongly disagree. you got a key for completing the story. you will get keys in subsequent weeks for completing poe. my understanding is that you will also get a key for completing all the bounties each week. if you aren't a casual player, chances are eventually you will come to really appreciate the keys. casuals pop in for a few hours a week and get lucky and get everything in the game. meanwhile, guys that put in work oftentimes get screwed. by having this option available, it closes the gap left by rng

2 OdpowiedziDoes prison of elders save checkpoints similar to how raids do because I got disconnected in the middle of a boss
-
It is this way for people who only have one character but want to grind like the rest of us
-
So you can run poe multiple times and get the chance at an exotic. Theres a point, you just fail to see it.
-
you should get a key from doing PoE its retarded most of the PoE;s inhave done i didn't get loot because the keys soooo xur better -blam!-ign sell them
-
Have you played ️destiny? The whole game is farming and grinding if you didn't notice by now.
-
I like the idea, unlike nightfall where you can only do it once, if your inclined to do it again you can farm for a key, if you don't want to farm for one then you only do it the one time on a level your comfortable with. What's the issue?
-
Another one of Bungie's scheme to get more play time out of players. Never saw that coming.
-
Got a ley from one of the small chests in the PoE. Opened it and turned into an Icebreaker and dreamwaker.
-
It extends the game....durrr
-
7 OdpowiedziAlthough it does not bother me that we need to farm the keys, I do find it kind of funny that in order to obtain keys its up to RNG. So therefore bungies logic is you need to rely on RNG to open a chest that is completely RNG. So even though you went through the grind to farm these keys, and then bested your opponents in PoE, your still not guaranteed anything good. Not complaining still love the game.
-
2 OdpowiedziIf you read the article, you get atleast one a week, don't complain now because you couldn't be bothered farming a chests which isn't hard, an hour a day of farming chests would of givin you atleast 5 Keys, this game doesn't just give you items you have to put hours in
-
1 OdpowiedźAgreed. The whole idea of keys is stupid. Raids would have been way less fun if we had to go farm patrol to open the chests.
-
13 OdpowiedziThis is why I'm done wasting my time with destiny. They can't make up their minds about anything. "Let's add commendations...now let's take them out. Let's add this stupid key shit to force people to grind public events to get loot in a horrible excuse replayable endgame." I swear they go with the first idea that some dumb-blam!- says in the sprint planning. This game is nothing but a grind fueled by RNG.

7 OdpowiedziYou get one a week
-
2 OdpowiedziArtificial play time/content.
-
It's good because it shows commitment...without the Keys anyone can do the lvl 28 arena and get the same rewards in the chest if you have the keys it makes more rewarding
-
3 OdpowiedziNot as bad as having to farm materials back in the day...
-
Milk was a bad decision
-
You get a key when you finish the story
-
No they weren't
-
3 OdpowiedziYou get one per week for completion of POE. The ones you get farming are extra. Stop crying.
-
You are aware You don't have to use a key. You'll still get end game gear (32+ arena) . Keys are for the grinders or lucky ones. If you don't like it, don't do it. Some people enjoy grinding
