SGA(s): Little bits of advice for HoW.
Just a little list of helpful reminders that may help you as we gear up for the launch of Expansion 2. If you know anymore information that may be useful, please add it in the comments.
1) If you have completed all 6 of the Queen's Bounties, see Petra in the tower for a Queen's Favour. This will be redeemable in the reef when HoW drops.
2) Before you decrypt all your engrams, make sure you ascend any Exotics you can. This costs glimmer, and if you've been farming chests, it is likely you're at 25k. When you decrypt and/or dismantle the contents of your engrams, you should receive glimmer, to take you back to the cap.
3) If the Nightfall is the new strike (Shadow Thief), you will most likely have to complete the story before you can do the Nightfall. If you have multiple characters, you have to do the story multiple times. To remedy this, complete the story once, then the Nightfall. Then, on the same character, load up the NF again, and invite a friend. Change characters and join up on your friend to avoid doing the story again on your new character.
4) The Crystal Barrows reward room at the end of Prison of Elders takes one key and one key only. You receive one key for the first completion per week. Subsequent completions of PoE will not reward you with a treasure key but you may access the reward room if you have a spare key.

If youre in the same boat as me, and wish you could of got your money back a long time ago, heres what you need to know about HoW and all its hype. Its still going to be a monotonous garbage game with plenty of watered down gameplay, set in a different place or in a different style. People will still hunt for ways to stand from a distance and snipe or shoot rockets, so long as they are not engulfed in any difficulty that this new content can give. Remember to stay strong and if youre a loyal fan to this company youll keep coming on these forums and giving them the feedback they asked for. All the while never giving them a dime until you see and read for yourself they have finally given us challenging content for the price we are paying.

11 OdpowiedziThanks. I have advice too, it may not be helpful but I encourage you all to take things slow and actually enjoy the story. It sounds like bungie put a lot of effort into this one and I can't wait to see it all.

None of the bounties show up for me, but I never got a queen's favor. #halp EDIT1: Thanks guys for the help. I think it is a combination of things: finishing it before day 7, the patch, and this awkward amount of time before HoW goes live. I'll check back again in a bit.

I wasn't able to finish the Last bounty from the Queen yesterday, Just did it today, didn't get anything (because of the reset maybe)... We Will get that reward every week, or was it a one time event?

Can you do each of the prison of elders once per week or do they affect each other's loot based on what order you do them in

That's a great tip for doing the NF on a char you haven't done the story on yet. Hell, jumpin in/out of a nightfall has saved my team's but many times. Just promote a dif guy to leader if you're in a bad spot and he's safe, jump out, jump in. use as necessary.

A message will pop up saying something like "someone does not meet requirements to participate blah blah blah" Edit: instead I say you should do everything on 1 character first including PoE. You may get something good and the missions will be a great way to level up your new shit on other characters.
