Destiny Pro says "Only Hunters can solo the Gorgon Maze"
Got kicked out of his fireteam because I said any class can solo the maze.
He said he had two PSN's and he's a pro.
Been playing since Day 1 and never heard someone say this before lmao.
Hard facepalm.
Edit: When I say solo the Gorgon Maze I'm saying running through the maze undetected by Gorgon's. Sorry if that was unclear.

1 OdpowiedźIn my First VoG back in the days i clearly had trouble Going through the maze undetected. But the leader insisted all fireteam members have to Do it. It was hard getting the Jumps right and wie failed a few times. But we did it. Since that day, i Know my way around the maze and encourage new Players to give it a try. You learn by your mistakes. Maybe If a random Group falls 15 Times, an experienced player would offer to solo it in Order to keep the frustration Level low. But announcing to solo it before Even trying, or just After 1 failed attempt creates Problems for Future journeys through the maze. You can't insist on soloing it and at the Same Time Be pissed at unexperienced Players that they don't Know how get through. How would they? Just my 2 Cents

2 OdpowiedziI joined a buddy they other day when he was playing with some randoms. They a started talking about backing out so this hunter could solo it right as I joined. So it's just this hunter and my Titan. I start running it with him and the guy keeps going Invisible and gets detected.i chuckled as he try's to say I was the reason we got caught. So the second time I just waited at the beginning. He didn't even make it past the first gorgon. Then he joined everyone in orbit while I ran it solo hahahaha

It just takes a good leader and communication to get everyone past the Gorgons without being detected. Even on hard VoG there is a path you can take that does not involve jumping on the rocks. Though I have always ran VoG on my hunter; it is as easy with the other chatacters with a little experience under your belt. That being said, it all comes down to practicing the route the fits you best. Some prefer the rocks, others might like the long route that involves running and waiting for an opening.

Let me get this straight, this "pro" claims that not any class can solo it, yet the boundaries of that objective are: -there's technically only one strategy to it (albeit multiple pathways) -you can't distract/kill the Gorgons (well, you can kill them but 99% chance you'll end up wiping at some point before the end anyway, I've had a team go as far as killing 9 before wiping) -merely being seen means you'll wipe So literally the only way to beat it is running, jumping, and hiding with rocks. Every single class has to be able to do this, even with a group, just to beat it legit. It's HARDER with a group because you're a larger target and sometimes spread out, making it easier to be seen. Meaning everyone who can just follow the path can solo it or do it running next to guys doing the same thing. He couldn't grasp this logic??? It's a true shame to think people who can't figure something this simple out exist.

2 OdpowiedziThere is absolutely no beed to jump or sprint to clear the maze undetected. You can literally walk through it as any character. It takes no skill and no effort. You just need to know the route. The host is an ass

One of my first times in the Gorgonz maze I was in there for about 4 hours. No joke, with a team of 6.

Eh anyone can solo it so I don't see why he needed to be a dick for...some people think they are "good" just because they consider themselves the best in there group I'm good but I stay humble about it when people need help I help.

I've ran with warlocks and titans and I the hunter am not the leader. The deduction would be that they can do it without me. So aside from needing three people to open the door, this is just a stretch, mind you, a rather bold conclusion... ...but I imagine they can solo it just fine.

The Gorgon maze? Anyone can solo it. That's the easiest part of VOG. It takes all of what a minute and a half to get through?

I ran with a group yesterday, we just ran straight through murdering all the Gorgons in the way.
