So.. too late to enjoy destiny fully or not?
Ive only just bought Destiny, absolutely LOVE it - best game ive EVER played.. My question is - am I too late to really fully enjoy destiny this far into its life cycle? I want to eventually get into PvP and Co-op missions ... I've been told to wait til around lvl20 before I even consider that, would that be true? Problem is, none of my friends play Destiny.. so would I find it hard to get a match? - Loving the community feel already, people are so nice!

Destiny just came out not even a year ago how is it far in its life cycle?

I can categorically say, Destiny is the best game I've played in years. Day 1 and beta player. I got GTA 5, COD and Halo MCE for Christmas and I ain't touched them. The dynamics of the game play are simply the best I've ever experienced and I have mainly played fps since the first xbox and PS1 up over... I was new to the mmo experience although I'm led to belive Destiny is a hybrid. Loved the grind in the early days as well. Like yourself, none of my friends had the game but I soon made loads of buddies for the nightfall and raids. Jump in!!!

immediately dismantle gjallarhorn if you get it because Bungie hasn't patched the glitch where it resets your level after a few kills

You've missed a few events, but nothing that keeps you from moving forward. And people are still playing endgame stuff, look up DestinyLFG when you want to do the harder final activities.

Strikes and pvp matches are all matchmaking (except trails of Osiris- but you won't have to worry about that yet) I would suggest start doing crucible now, as you will have an easier time leveling up

1 OdpowiedźActually this is probably the best time to get into Destiny. Lots of things have been fixed, changed, added, and taken away. As of next week you'll have so much more available then what we had at launch. A lot of things have been changed for better and a few for worse, but you're walking into a better Destiny that I had night 1.

Nah mate not too late, just play through story mode and once you're past level 5 start doing all the bounties you can which will help you level up faster and get your vanguard rank up, once it's at rank 2 you can buy legendary boots and gauntlets and once it's at 3 you can buy legendary helmets, chest armour and weapons.. When you get to a high enough level and wanna tackle the weekly heroic/ nightfall strikes and raids look on the recruitment section on the forums and you should be able to find a clan to join and play with (:

Destiny's player base is actually larger than before, (if you need someone for raids nightfalls etc msg EggyFlashlight on either ps4 or xbone

However you miss the purpose of doing TDB and VoG. If you're going to start though, now is the most beneficial time for new players. All the legendary weapons can be rerolled, all legendary gear can reach max light. Yes if not playing from drop date, now is probably the time.

It's really only getting better. If you've been playing since day one, you've gotten pretty fed up with the game by now. They are just finally starting to add in the things this game was missing initially, and adding things that were unexpected. Keep playing, it should only get better. Allegedly.

You can still enjoy it as much as I still do from day one. You have catching up to do of course but there will be so many people wanting to do raids and nightfalls and you can always find people on here. Don't let other people put you down!
