Ever beat a boss? Gets a wave.
Friendly guardian snipes the goblin you didn't notice right next to you? Gets a wave.

Kill all three members on skirmish get the wave

19900 to 19900 on a control match my entire team gathered together when all of a sudden a Bladedancer comes around the corner, and by total instinct I Fist of Havoc for the win! Entire fireteam dances on dead Bladedancer.

In the middle of a free for all (skirmish?) me and an enemy player start sniping on the other side of the map. We don't notice each other at first, but it's a little hard to notice a giant red glare in the background. So, I try to scope in. Little did I know that when my friend was at my house, he changed the controls. Long story short, I cross map wave to him. The crazy part is, he waved back! I ended that game with a tie between him and me for 2nd.

I did this once! In a crucible match that had 6 players on opposing team and 3 players on our team I ran around then found an enemy changing his weapons. So I run up to him and waved. Almost immediately i was shot down by a nearby enemy.

2 OdpowiedziSure it slightly amusing but what if the dpad was useful. What if it was used as hot keys? Heavy ammo and weapon changes without opening your menu! OMG its like I'm a game designer. No sadly I am not. However I do know when pointless features are added over useful ones our games suffer.

1 OdpowiedźYesterday, I'm doing Nightfall with a stranger. I manage to get close to Omnigul to deal a lot of damage but a Wizard spawns behind me and kills me. Now I'm surrounded by enemies who keep shooting my ghost. One guardian backs off and doesn't even try to revive me. Smart move, if we all die, it's game over. No hard feelings. The second guardian keeps trying to shoot things and carefully pushing forward. I'm debating whether o should make someone else fireteam leader and do the Back to Orbit trick or see how things play out. Suddenly, the second guardian kills one Wizard and makes a run for it. He tries to revive me and succeeds but does in the process. I can now run off and do whatever but I can't abandon this guy who literally died for me. So I do a quick turn around and revive me. Two seconds later, I died while making a run for it. Because I'm closer to a safe location now, the first guardian ventures forward and revives me. All three of us make it to the safe spot. We killed Omnigul shortly after. They all get waves AND dance offs.
