Worst scare you've had in a video game?
My two worst are from amnesia and scp containment breach.
In amnesia, it was right when you leave the sewers towards the end of the game. I opened the door out, and heard the music that plays when you get spotted so I slammed the door and backed away. I turned to run so I wouldn't get caught, and the big guy was right in my face! I screamed like a little girl and ended up in the fetal position!
In scp, I got an unlucky seed where I got stuck with the same starting hallway like six rooms in a row. In the last one, I noticed one of the blood spots was in a different corner and was talking to a friend about it, and 106 came as I was going back to the door! ;_;
What's the worst scare you've gotten from a game?
EDIT: Just wanted to say thanks for my first and probably only 1000+ posts thread!

Playing batman arkham knight at night and suddenly see manbat. Holy shit that was scary. .

Amnesia. Playing late at night in the dark. I went into a room, closing the door behind me. Searched all over, found some creepy stuff, and realized I needed to go back where I came from. As I reached out to open the door, BAM! Something hit the door. I literally threw my mouse up off my desk a little. Hid in a corner for 10 minutes because there were no hiding places.

Man i shit my pants. Was playing at night with my window open and nobody was home, i was really unconfortable (and i was young)
