This is why ignorance is never a good thing and blind faith shouldn't be confused with loyalty. All blind faith fans of any game are extremists who've put so much time and personal effort into one particular game or game company that they basically place themselves in a virtual stockholm syndrome. Even after they implicitly realize there are some crude and unsound aspects of the game that are game-breaking, they've already put so much enthusiasm and time perceiving the game to be good that they create a mental bias in their minds that says, no matter what X is, the game is good. In the case of Activision's Bungie, X is all the flaws game wise and company wise bungie has accumulated with this travesty known as destiny. For example, even if Bungie still continues to produces games where lag will always work in favor of the lagger, destiny is good. Even if Bungie continues to produce an ambiguous story content with shitty roundabout dialogue that's now shorter than most COD campaigns(which is a pretty low bar), destiny is good. Even if Activision's Bungie continues to endorse a horrible game engine that can't provide new graphic designs of weapons at a new-gen console speed and is constantly using reskin weapon models with an RNG rolled statistical value (i.e. no diversity in-game), destiny is good. Even if bullets often do not register at the time they you pull the trigger due to an inevitable slight difference in internet speed among players, destiny is still good. There's oh so much more to gripe about that trolls will just label as bullshit and ignorant fans will label as excuses that only pros will get used to, but the point is destiny is far from being commendable on any level of PVE and PVP. In terms of PVE content, Destiny is still more generic in its story and has horrible screenwriting that's getting shorter and shorter, even though they supposedly have a staff of writers dedicated to just this aspect of the game. Lastly Destiny sure as hell is not commendable in PVP where skill is no longer the primary attribute that dictates success in a match. And by skill, I don't mean to use it as other ignorant players and internet trolls have by throwing it to and fro as an insult of what others lack in. Ignorant players and trolls don't even know the definition of skill in the context of video games. In the context of shooter games, skill is not some intangible idea, but physical dexterity and mental strategy. Destiny's pvp does not require either of the two to be successful in their shooter-based pvp where blinking shotguns and too many one-shot mechanics (i.e. supers, certain grenades and rockets) still are the majority circumstance you'll run into. and that's why Destiny's PVP fails as a commendable standard of shooter games. It doesn't take dexterity to super or blink and shotgun because you don't need precise aiming to obtain a kill. It doesn't take strategy, because 1, there are too many outlets of killing your enemies without dexterity available in Destiny and 2, because those outlets are available, the majority of people are of course going to utilize them because the easiest way to win will always be the logical goal for any player. It is the responsibility of the GAME DEVELOPER to minimize easy options and to ideally create diversity and balance in a PVP and PVE setting without sacrificing the requisite of dexterity and strategy. Guess what? The majority of gamers only use the shotguns, hand cannons, pulse rifles, and supers before everything else in PVP. 4 out of 12 other weapons and abilities. No diversity and balance. Guess what? The majority of gamers will use their super to one shot enemies and the blink and long range, high impact shotgun strategy. No dexterity and strategy. The point of all of this is to prove that the statement, "destiny is dying," has some validity if you interpret it from the point of view that ignorance is equivalent to a dead mind. It's a mind that doesn't take in any realistic information and doesn't give any realistic information either. A growing majority of players in destiny are becoming ignorant to what games SHOULD be giving you and instead are satisfied with what games ARE giving them, which is always less and less than shooter games from ten years ago. People who give infantile excuses such as haters are going to hate or haters should just die are either internet trolls or the ignorant, blind faith gamers that you should avoid to be around and, in the worst case scenario, become. As a positive note, there is only one truly commendable reason to play destiny and that reason isn't even exclusive to destiny the game. In only games in general, if you have friend to play with then there's no better reason to play. That's the only good, realistic reason of sound logic that you'd want to play destiny. However, that doesn't mean the game is good in any sense of game design and story.

When you are a recognized pillar in any community you must be responsible about what you say. Obviously the man telling the youth to kill himself is not an example of being responsible. We can't take everything seriously, like anything that is said it has weight and in this case the consequences could be grave. I believe that the gentleman blabbering about suicide needs to make an apology to the community. Take accountability for your actions because maybe this youth won't go kill themselves but when one does, and we are burying someone's son or daughter, that will be the day you begin to not be able to live with yourself. That might be the beginning of when you start considering taking your own life Mr Wrecked.
