Current-gen vs. Past-gen
Do you think Xbox 360 and PS3 are holding Destiny's true potential back due to limitations? Feel free to debate in the comments

Definitely, they had to remove comparison from last gen to free up memory. That means they are maxed out.

No cuz on xbox 1 i have to force quit every game for it to work and constantly have to unplug the whole system and cold boot. The 360 always just worked lol

13 OdpowiedziLast gen didn't put up those invisible walls. Last gen didn't make the storyline nonsensical. Last gen didn't make Fireteams the size of a LAN party with poor turnout. Last gen didn't ruin the go-to primary class. Last gen didn't forget to factor in winning when determining RNG tables. Last gen didn't force them to use P2P connections. Last gen didn't ruin Destiny, Bungie did that all by themselves.

2 Odpowiedzibungie made destiny for the 360 and ps3 way before ps4 and 1 so they focused all the software for them then the new-gen came along and someone asked them to port it to the ps4 and xboner (i think activision)

9 OdpowiedziYou mean, current gen and next gen. There are still a whole lot more 360s and PS3s being used than XB1s or PS4s. Not to mention that worthwhile games exclusive to the next gen are just barely starting to come out.

Just played it on the PS3 again for the first time in months (one of my friends hasn't bought his PS4 yet) and I was surprised at how good it looked. Not quite as crisp and there were definitely some aliasing issues with the shadows, but damn does it hold up well!

No Xbox one and ps4 are holding pc gaming back, incompetent developers are holding gaming back, the fact that the pvp maps are more interesting to explore than the patrols, outside of Venus, is holding this game back, the fact that there's all this goodies in the grimoire but not in game is holding this game back.... I'd keep going but it's not worth it

Everyone on here that says that old gen isn't holding back current gen has probably never had a current gen console and or doesn't know how basic computer hardware and software works.

Stop lying to yourselves people! Even if the game was for current gen they would still lock out content and make you pay for it

I'd say, as someone who plays on a 360, it certainly is worse, but I can't say that you'd be better off without us. then again Halo 5 is coming out with a 12 v 12 mode with AI combatants, so maybe we are.

Absolutely. Bungie even stated it themselves. I just hope they play it smart and go current gen only for Destiny 2
