I can't wait to play the new story missons in HoW...Said no one ever!!!!
Or I can't wait to play that new strike, or those new crucible maps. What about that new vendor gear? I think everyone get's my point. A new raid was what the majority of players we're looking forward to regarding the HoW. That's why so many of us are upset, how is this so hard to understand?

Actually I'm looking forward to more story missions. The game needs more content. Plus with these stats being thrown around here lately saying that only 19% of players actually raid, I would think that a new raid was not a top priority for most players. Other game modes are a welcome addition and I'm interested to see how it goes.

It's not hard to understand at all. I was stoked for the "new raid" last time and all I got was the Crota strike, so I for one am glad that they decided to not release another puke bucket disguised as a "raid". Maybe they'll actually release a raid worth playing again now. What's so hard to understand about that?

By majority of players, you mean the 10/15% that actually raid? I think you are confused about the definition of majority.
