First off, reading comprehension is PARAMOUNT in this HoW uproar. There will be a raid people! They just won't release it when HoW's drops, like Urk said in his post. Learn to understand what is being said.
I am just as upset that there isn't going to be a new Raid until later just as the next hardcore raider, but there will be one.
Secondly, give this new Arena mode, whatever it is (I see a repeat of Halo's Firefight, but hopefully better) a chance before you judge it. From the little info given I see great potential, which is a dangerous word and hopefully they can live up to it. Not sure I like them cutting my Raid team in half but we'll probably stay in a party chat while both our groups of three run it.
This will be new content and I see a lot of logistical reasoning behind releasing a Raid later on (most likely between HoW DLC and Comet). We complain after we complete the released content that there isn't anything left to do. Breaking it up like this will give us something to do between DLC drops.
Lastly, for those of you who think Bungie will sell the HoW Raid, you don't understand that it would be financial suicide. Also did Bungie charge for VoG which dropped after the game's release? No, so rest assured they aren't going to charge for the Raid since it is in the promised DLC package.

2 OdpowiedziActually, panties coming off are better. Just saying.

Agreed, people jump to conclusions but in actuality they will be getting a raid and a new play mode

1 OdpowiedźIt will be included with dlc that u have to pay for. They aren't going to release it by itself for free. (I'm still ok with it). I expect to see more than one raid come out before destiny 2

2 OdpowiedziVault of glass came with the game though. It wasn't DLC. So it was already ready for you to unlock once the game was beaten. And Bungie will more then likely make us pay because that's free money. And activision is paired up and we know how they run COD. You pay for EVERYTHING. So yeah it's a little irritating

5 OdpowiedziSo many people wanted a survival type deal and now that Bungie is giving us what we wanted to see, everyone is complaining. The community here is toxic. Honestly, most people that enjoy the game don't even bother coming to these forums. I've been eager for House of Wolves since the Fallen became my favorite enemies. I can't wait for the new armor, especially the fallen themes stuff, although the Osiris Warlock gear inspired by Anubis looks wicked.

2 OdpowiedziBut what the update actually says is that there will be a raid later this year, but that House of Wolves will not have a raid. What we don't know is what the raid will be for or what it means to not be a part of House of Wolves.

1 Odpowiedźwow someone who actually -blam!-ing paid attention, incredible yeah i was disappointed at no raid w/ the how release, but i got over it pretty fast. we are getting one later, plus theres all this new content. im just sitting back and enjoying all the rage from the 9 yr olds, its great

1 OdpowiedźThe thing is they mentioned there will be a raid later in the year but they didn't specifically state that it will be free for HoW purchaser. I think what people want are clarifications on Urk's update.

I will hold out judgement until I play the new content. A horde mode, which I never played because I didn't play halo just seems like more of the same though. Basically every strike is just a horde mode. Endless enemies in a row until you kill a boss. Seems like more of the same, but I'll give it a chance.

Yeah, but they didn't say the raid would release before Comet. So, my guess is that the raid they are working on will not be available until you purchase Comet: Plague of Darkness which is scheduled for September (which means at this rate we'll actually see it next summer)

1 OdpowiedźWhat.. you expect folks to read then deal with their emotions and then respond. I wish a single post would alter that course... however I suspect it shall not. That said, Bungie played a role in the limited announcement of the lack of Raid. Insufficient facts always invite danger. What we have seen here in the last 16 hours or so can be summed simply by this satire. “After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true.” We are getting many things people have asked for.. but the "wanting" will always outweigh the "having".
