I'm done defending 31's
So plain and simple, the 31's from 2 months ago are not the same as the ones today. I cringe every time I join Crota HM raid group off the forums. I usually see 2-3 31's and possibly a 30 who are trying to get carried through. I'm not the best player but I can hold my own because being a 32 gives you a little room for error. No matter how good you THINK you are, a well placed boomer shot is taking you down. It's the same story everytime. So if you're a 31, don't get offended when someone kicks you, they are just trying to save their sanity.
Edit: Ok, I guess I should clarify some things.
1. If you have two 32's but are trying to run your third character who happens to be a 31, you're fine. I'm talking about 31's with less than 10 normal completions.
2. Getting smoked by a boomer is a rare occurrence but it does happen. It happens more often with low levels.
3. Obviously my post refers to the past. I have done more than my share of teaching and carrying, probably more than most who have replied to this post. This wasn't just one bad run and now I'm slamming every 31.
4. If you are lfg in the forums on hard mode, please at least have the decency to tell people you are a lower level. This way an awkward silence followed by a return to orbit doesn't happen.

I'm not a dick, but I'd rather have all 32s just to make things easier now since finding a team that can actually kill Crota is difficult.

We didn't wipe got Crota on 1st attempt on hard mode. 3ghorns and 3HoC it's possible but has to be a good team. I did it once that it was 2 x31 and we kept wiping because they kept dying. A good way to tell if they are any good is to look at their Crota completions. Good team each had over 20 Crota completions. And the 2 bad 31 had less than 10 combined.

Would gladly do hm crota with 31's and already have. Don't see why this is brought up almost daily.

5 OdpowiedziI help people (30-31's especially on hard) and they're perfectly fine. Once we had 2 Gallys, (one was mine, and I'm swordbearer) 2 or so HoC and other legendary rockets. He went down quicker than I thought and it went perfectly fine.

9 OdpowiedziI am 31, need one piece or armor to get to 32. Have played just over two hundred hours and just two days ago got Gally in nightfall. I want to do Crota Normal as I have not done it, but I want to get all my weapons maxed before I attempt so I am not a burden to anyone. Guess I will post for others like me to do it with. I understand where you thousand hour guys are coming from, you are burnt out. Go fishing or something, take a break and try to enjoy the game again.

Sadly, i agree. I always liked helping newbies on normal by running sword. Lately, i have been getting sick of asking if they have rockets, them saying yes, me getting in position and seeing 2 rockets total fly at crota. If you cant get him down on normal, you shouldnt be there until you can. Also, its the fact that they lie about having ammo and their experience. If someone is honest with me and says they havent done it before, i would be glad to adjust and help them get it. But it is the deception that pisses me off.

Agreed if you still play you should have all 32s by now. I quit and I have all classes 32

2 OdpowiedziJust Everyone who is 31 and trying to hm Crota you need to just stop, I have nothing against you guys I have a 32 hunter and Titan and I refuse to do it on my warlock as he isn't 32, but as soon as he is then I will use him, there is no need to try hm as its so much easier to just attempt normal until you get all raid armor pieces.

2 OdpowiedziI've cleared hard Crota on my 31 quite a few times before I hit 32. Experience is more of an asset than your level. If you're getting hit by boomers, your team is doing hard mode wrong.

4 OdpowiedziI have 2 32 characters and 1 31 Titan. Every hard mode I have done with my Titan I was the one who never died and actually knew what was going on. Hell, one raid I was in as a 31I had to leave because the others (all 32's) were dying in the crystal room consistently. They couldn't even get out to see crota. 31's are not a drag in HM at all, unless you are just terrible

Doesn't matter what lvl you are. I've done every raid on hard at the minimum lvl without being carried til about the end, but even then I wasn't a burden to my team. If you suck you suck period.

1 Odpowiedź32 swordbearer. Here Missing hydronic essences to lvl my warlock to 32 Need boots for my titan. Now here. I never take dmg in the crystal room or outside. Have infusion helmets to back it up otherwise. I never f.u the game by using a 31. I carry a shitload to crota every week. Do heavy glitch so i can help take out swordbearer and crota with 4 rockets every sword. Crota can be done with just 3 ppl Don't judge a 31. Judge the player

I joined a friends group and it was 5 31's. Asking me if I could be swordberer. Left immediately.

True, but what's worse is when they cry on the forums calling 32s elitists, it's just why would you want to be a liability to your team.

I utilize the 3 strike system. On the third, I leave group. People should know this fight by now.
