When hard mode first came out lots of people were level 31

lol I run 31 with my clan. Have the armor to get to 32, but not the time to farm glimmer. Probably do it this weekend though. Funny story though. I (warlock) and another 31 (hunter) joined four 32s in CE HM (3 hunters and a titan). They'd already run through the lamps, so everyone but one person (the 31 hunter already at the end and holding in the hallway) spawned in dead. Next we're at the bridge. We form the bridge, the 31 hunter gets across and safe. Some have already died, the rest alive try to get into the tower and fall/die on the rocks. I'm the only one left alive on my side so I shoot thralls until the acolytes come out and kill me. I then revive and am sniping cross the bridge, while the hunter on the other side is taking pot shots at the thralls. We knock the ogres down, run the hall, grab the chest. Next stop: Deathsinger. I run right, no idea where the 31 went. I go into overwatch with Ice Breaker and score the kills on both the Wizards (I snipe the close one, then switch to across the way to help finish it off, then start on the knights on my side). Someone else goes in for the Shriekers and clears. Deathsinger starts, everyone left standing goes in and goes to town. Deathsinger dies and everyone left alive scrambles outside for some breathing room. Only two left alive to clean up after the deathsinger are the two 31s, who clean up, and grab the check point. At this point the 32s are laughing and suggesting sending the 31s to duo Crota since we're the only ones still alive at the end of each stage. During Crota, neither of us went down (other than during a controlled wipe/oversoul). Keep telling yourself its just 31 vs. 32 if it makes you happy, but that ain't the whole truth. (now ... the people who were 31 several months ago usually had spent time as 29s and 30s vs. the people now who are jumping straight to 31, so that may be more of the problem than anything else) P.S. Not saying 32 won't take less damage than 31, and not saying that 31 can dish out as much damage. Just that the liability level is sometimes the player, more than the level (and I view myself as a mediocre casual, so take everything I just said with whatever filter you want).

Lol I run with 31's all the time and beat HM. Heck my Titan was a 31 for the longest and I finally got him to 32 today after several months of getting F-ed by RNG. You just suck plain and simple.

You are honestly the the most closed minded ignorant person to ever live. You are so unbelievably stupid. I have several crota HM completions and I'm a 31. Who cares? If you're good, you're good. If you suck (like yourself) you suck. So stop looking for attention and just stop posting to forums

I will say this I don't mind carrying 1 maybe 2 31s but when a level 31 comes into my fireteam with a rare rocket launcher, I refuse to waste my time on garbage players like that, I had a tracking legendary launcher at 30, it's not that hard to get one.

Excuse me? Your trying to keep your sanity? I'm sorry but I'm a 31 and I raid regularly, and you think being a 32 makes you some high and mighty player? News flash it doesn't. Even though I'm a 31 I can hold my own very well in a raid so if you're one of those scumbag 32s elitists I will gladly leave your group before you even think about kicking me. I try to keep my sanity when a 32 is breathing down my neck in a raid yelling at me how to do something that I clearly know how to do just because I'm a level 31.

Let's face it, everybody that is good at raiding has already gotten everything they need out of the raid by now. The high skill hardcore players don't play anymore. It's a lot of casuals left that still need weapons/armor from Crota. Edit: before you blow up my phone, when I say high skill hardcore, it either means you spend a LOT of time on destiny. Or you are just good at video games. They can overlap but they aren't the same thing

I don't find the Crota boss fight even slightly difficult and I'm a 31. But I'm a high 31, just need the bloody Radiant shards. I've done Crota on hard a couple times but the last time the six of us just kept making silly mistakes, and that's usually how people lose the raid.

I've played with plenty of 31's who are fantastic, if a 31 knows what they're doing, you can have 3-4 and kill Crota easy. Also I've played with 32's who die every 5 seconds, it just depends.

Serious question here. When CE came out, level 30s could not beat it because they couldn't damage crota. You had to have at least one 31 on the team. Is this still true or did they patch it? Also, does that mean in hard mode you have to have at least one level 32?

I've been on "retirement" as of late cause I literally have everything the raid can give and from my experience a 31 shouldn't be instantly ignored. Don't listen to what they know, see how they play, and remember that sometimes the only thing keeping a 31 from a 32 is dumb luck This forum honestly isn't that great for LFG, I'd prefer Planet Destiny's LFG site because I get set with better players more often
