1 OdpowiedźThis post is really aimed at lfg players. When your only way of getting hard crota done every week is through lfg, you learn to cut your losses. One could decide to ignore the signs described by the OP, continue attempting the encounter and still prevail but at what cost? The question you have to ask yourself is, "Does this team have what it takes to make it before someone quits?" Every raid group has a certain # of wipes before someone flat out quits without saying a word, likely adding a significant amount of time to completion due to having to find another person, etc. Then there's always the person who says, "This is my last one guys." That just kills everyone's confidence, and leads to a wipe in almost every case that I've been in. If the bad signs are obvious from the start, any confidence the more experienced players might have is low to begin with. To summarize, its not that we think a certain group cannot get it done. What it is is that we don't have time to spend 4 hours per character doing crota in order to do so. If just one person in the group does not know what they're doing and/or is prone to dying, it significantly hurts the group's chances right off the bat.

Middle strat on normal is not a sign of they don't know how to survive. It's normally a sign of they do hard mode and why fix what's not broken.

The reason I use middle stray on normal is for training lol. I need HoC and SwordBreaker. Once I get those, it's On to hard mode where I know exactly what to do.

Coudlnt agree with #3 more. Left strategy is simpler and everyone knows it when you're doing it w/ 30 & 31's. When u can 1 shot boomers instead of 6shot, and just get a melee knight instead of a wizard which is a bullet sponge, left side is a breeze. Middle is a hassle most people don't know he full strategy if they're not to experienced (e.i. Need boomer distractor, don't shoot swordbearer till CROTA goes mid, etc.) which is frustrating when you're just trying to fly by it.

Middle strategy is not cheap. It is smart. You don't go to war and so what is hardest because you want to be cheap.

6 OdpowiedziLeft strat came about when people were trying to find the EASIEST way to beat Crota on normal, most people agreed it was the EASIEST way and everyone started using this strat. When hard mode came around it was found that left strat was now not EASY enough anymore and the search went on to find a better way to kill him, then middle strat was discovered. If someone started doing middle strat before left strat then no one on Destiny would be doing left strat because it wouldn't even be a thing. You need to stop living in the past and using obsolete strategies. Your post as a whole makes no sense. You quit groups you think will fail because you think it is too challenging for the team, and at the same time want them to do a strategy that is more challenging for them? Also you wont go middle because you don't think it is challenging enough for you, but you wont do the raid with people that aren't geared out and experienced to make it go as easy as pie? You just blew my mind with how dumb this is.

Seriously although there are grounds sufficient to warrant leaving, your threshold is hilariously low. You're a scrub if you quit that easily, period. And middle strategy on Normal is fine, who cares which strategy you use if both work? I can't imagine what a massive scrub you must be to quit out of a Normal run like that for absolute no good reason lol. And also I can't count how many times Crota didn't go down well at first but with hardly any effort on my part I educate the people how to take him down faster more consistently, if the team keeps on not getting him down that's one thing but failing one time causes you to quit? What a whiny little pussy.

8 OdpowiedziSo the middle strat is bad...? Huh. Well, I know never to invite you to a fireteam. Middle strat works best pal - it's efficient and safe. Two things that are pretty critical to a raid. Sure you can stand off to the side on normal, and that is a perfectly acceptable strategy, but going center doesn't mean there are survival fears. Did you ever think that maybe they were practicing for a HARD RAID? Get over yourself. Have fun, it's what this game is for!
