Am I the only person who actually likes this game?
Downloaded this app a few days ago and am stunned by the constant negative comments about the game. Yes it's not perfect and isn't quite what was promised but, it's still a great game and I for one really enjoy playing it. I think it's strange that someone can invest many hours playing this game and then try to pretend that they think it's shit. If I don't like a game I won't play it for dozens of hours and download the app that goes with it.

The vocal minority will always be more negative in nature because while there are people (like yourself) who start posting for the sake of joining the community, most people will first find their way to the forms to complain about something.

1 OdpowiedźMost people here focus on the (admittedly many) negatives because we love the game. It's because we love this universe that we complain about its faults. Destiny has an unusually high potential to become a great game, but until they make the necessary changes it will remain the best 6/10 of all time.

Lots of people like this game, obviously. You're just not used to game forums. Forum communities are usually filled with whiners and trolls and opinionated assholes. I'm including myself in that. They're pretty much all the same.

It's fun in the beginning, then the games over, and you just have to grind for materials and it gets old. Like there's literally 2 unique activities, and even then after you play them through a couple times it turns into a rinse and repeat.

It's like when you get married and end up divorced and bitter. It is not that we never enjoyed ourselves, we just realized it was lying to us - especially when the DLC came out. Made me feel like a fool for not listening to the original hate brigade who were mad about the E3 footage and how the Beta was the entire game (gameplay wise, minus the Raid). I still think the Raids are the best thing Destiny created, the way they developed the concept of them at least. The VoG is teetering on the edge of greatness, but so many missed opportunities in there and throughout this game.

2 OdpowiedziThe most hilarious thing OP is that half the people on here say they "hate this game" or "this game sucks im quitting", yet they spend their time on a forum for a game they supposedly quit? Like wtf? So yeah you will get to seeing that half the BS on these forums is about people announcing their retirement from this game or crying over guns being too OP in Crucible. Get used to it now, because there are a ton of haters on here that just go on here to complain. Best of luck on the forums, guardian. (Btw I love this game)

It's funny, I've played with a lot of different random players from LFG, and everyone can admit that this game has its flaws, but they all seem to enjoy it for what it is. Yet on these forums, it's almost universal and constant negativity, cynicism, entitlement, crybabying. I still enjoy this game. There are plenty of things that I think could definitely be improved a lot, and I have hope that some day they will be. But if I didn't like playing it, I would stop. Today, for the first time, I was playing and I had more free time all to myself, but I just didn't feel like continuing to play at the time. I'm definitely slowing down, my daily/weekly playtime will probably drop a lot soon, leading up to HoW. We'll see if it brings me back. I do hope it does.
